Weekly Instagram/Facebook/Tumblr Roundup.
5 of the 6 (Esmee was off taking advantage of the milk bar.)
Good night, innernets. (Amelie)
We met the vacuum cleaner this morning, and we were not impressed. (Katriane, Jacques, Esmee, Francois & Madeline)
Here we have Jake derping across the back yard, oblivious to the fact that Katriane (YES. STILL IN HEAT AND SO SO VOCAL ABOUT IT) is watching him through the window and wailing at him to come scratch her itch.
Good night, innernets. (Antoine)
Antoine is hanging out in a giant donut, eating a fish taco for lunch, as you do.

Francois is Da BAYbee.
Today we learned that kittens who weigh 1 lb 12 oz will not properly fit in a soup mug. Good to know! Thank you for your assistance, Francois.
Would have been nice if Margeaux was in the picture and if they hadn’t been hanging out next to the litter boxes, but I’ll take what I can get. (Left to right: Katriane, Amelie, Antoine, Francois, Esmee (back), Jacques & Madeline.)

Madeline finds that the very best toy is juuust out of reach.
Good night, innernets. Amelie is not a fan of the fireworks.

Madeline’s keepin’ Mama clean.
Seriously, paws UP, y’all. (Antoine)
Good night, innernets. (Esmee)
I set up a crate for Margeaux so she’d have a quiet, out of the way place to give birth when the time comes (there’s also a cage on the other side of the room if she prefers that). It took the kittens approximately 10 minutes to discover it and claim it as their own.

Margeaux’s first alien belly movements. They’re pretty subtle, but definitely there. (I know you want to ask when she’s due and how many kittens she’ll have. She’s been with us since May 28th – 6 weeks on Tuesday – and cats gestate for 58-65 days, usually. So I’d imagine at some point in the next 3 weeks she will birth between 1 and 19 kittens, probably when I’m sleeping or otherwise occupied, but maybe I’ll get lucky and will get to witness the blessed event, who knows? Not me!) Margeaux is the 12th pregnant cat we’ve fostered since 2008.
Esmee out cold. (Good night, innernets.)

Having a quiet morning; hijinx and shenanigans are scheduled for later.
