Yesterday I was in town running a couple of errands, and I stopped by the post office to check my PO Box. It had been two weeks since the last time I checked it, and I wasn’t expecting anything, but I figured since I was right there, I should stop and check.
Know what I found? FIVE HOLIDAY CARDS. All of them were postmarked in December – all I can guess is that they were put in the wrong PO Box and either that PO Box was empty, or belonged to someone who didn’t check their box very often, so no one noticed for months.
So Shelley, Maureen, Erin & Molly, Cydney & Henry, and Marc & Bonnie and the 5010s, thanks for the holiday cards! I scanned them and added them to the Flickr 2015 Holiday Cards album, which you can see here.

Felix is a fierce hunter of Da Bird, and when he catches it, he’s not letting go!
Stefan in mid-leap, while Felix and Webster look on in awe.
“That was awesome when you jumped like that, Uncle Stefan.”
Newt (over by the couch) came in to see what was going on.
Webster whispered a few pointers.
They watched… (That’s Dennis at the bottom of the picture. He didn’t feel the need to get in the middle of things this time.)
Felix and his spotted belly make an impressive jump.
And even Newt took a swipe. I bet you didn’t think Newt ever played! He does occasionally, but he has to be in the right mood.
The boys are off to their forever home this evening. We’ll miss having them around, though I think the permanent residents will probably enjoy having access to the foster room 24/7 for the next few weeks.

So, seeing the picture “That was awesome when you jumped like that, Uncle Stefan.” right after Stefan’s jump made me think of the Incredible Hulk. Like, BAM…he lands and is formidable! 🙂
I keep thinking this is a stage with the couch being the white curtain. Gets me every time. Love the leaping pictures. And the spotted belly.
I can see that! I keep telling Fred that we need to clear out one side of the front room so that furniture and stuff doesn’t interfere with my jumping cat pictures.
Safe journey Felix and Webster!! Tell your family we want to see pictures of how you grow into those ears! 😀
So much. Love, love seeing our healthy babies become fat and smug cats!
I wonder if the permanent residents will be less than pleased when you get new fosters and have to shut them off from the foster room again? 😀
They won’t be PLEASED, but they’ll adjust. They always do. 😀
Sad to see the little ones go, but boy oh boy we bet their new pawrents are going to love having them at such a cute active age! Good luck guys!
Love seeing Newt play!
a true Christmas in July 😉
Years ago, I had a Christmas card returned and marked as “no forwarding address”. It didn’t show up until March.
Hope those sweeties settle right into their new home 🙂
Recently UPS delivered an “overnight” envelope to my office that had been sent in February. February 2015.
Good luck Felix and Webster!
Oh, how I love these jumping pictures and the matching mini-me’s!!!!! I hope you have a few of the flying pics held back…. Thank you for such a great start to the day
