In case you missed it on Facebook yesterday:
Nola will be going home Thursday! She will be an only child, which I think will suit her.
And of course with Roux and Praline going home yesterday, Nola and her Cajuns have now all been adopted, so we can relax a little. For the moment, at least!
Praline and Roux are now Praline and Taffy. I love it!

It is SO quiet here without Praline and Roux (which seems kind of funny, since the kittens in the foster room are so LOUD) and I miss them, but I’m so glad they were able to go home straight from here, and that they get to stay together. I have no doubt that they are going to be spoiled rotten, lucky girls.
I have pictures of them for today’s post, and will share the last of them tomorrow.
I’d say this was one of their favorite places to sleep, but they had a LOT of favorite places to sleep.
Such as in this box in the middle of the kitchen floor.
“Hey! Stop takin’ pictures, and get back to making jam!”

Gaston looks a little milk-drunk here.
In case you wanted a close-up of Chip’s neck. He’s got some lovely stripes, doesn’t he?
Mrs. Potts, doing her best to pretend she’s got the box to herself.
This bunch has zero desire to wear hats – they’d rather play with them. I like this black cowboy hat on Lumiere, though, for the instant it was there.
He was chomping on this mylar ball, and apparently it had a price tag on it, which became stuck to his tongue. He eventually spit it out and went along his way…
And Gaston was like “Ooh! What’s THIS?”
Belle likes it when the kittens entertain themselves.
They love to knock the box over and then balance atop it like this. It’s a good, sturdy box!

Oh, that Maxi. She’s a talker!

Oh, that’s great news about Nola! She has a very lucky family; what a sweetheart she is.
It may be the angle, but Belle looks like she’s starting to put on some weight? (Don’t get to say that often about a lady without getting punched in the throat.)
Chip’s neck looks like a yummy swirl of chocolate sauce in ice cream…
My heart is just singing for Nola’s good fortune! Roux’s new name of Taffy is just adorable! May they all have wonderful happy lives!
I like Gaston’s barely-there blep in the first shot of him. He’s a handsome boy. 🙂
I am so very happy for Nola to have finally found her human. What great news for this morning. Even more good news that her daughters were adopted together. I love it when siblings get to stay with each other.
Yay for all the special people who love and adopt kitties! When I’m having a particularly down day, it’s nice to know those people are out there… so thank you to all of you if you’re reading this!
Yay and Yay. Nola has found her human (lucky human) and her girls are going home together just like Ande and Beignet. Such a great story all around. I love the name taffy. Perfect names for such sweet girls! Another fantastic success story from Crooked Acres. Thanks to you and Fred Robyn, you are angels on Earth.
Belle has a similar look like some of the other mama’s in the past. Can we see any comparison pictures? They are all beautiful of course!!
I have a Taffy as well! It’s a great name for a sweet kitty.
I’m so happy Nola was finally adopted. The pictures of her at Petsmart were so sad.
Chip looks like he may be part giraffe
Woot! Woot! So happy for Nola. I’m very glad she didn’t have to sit very long in the cage.
Gaston’s pose, minus the bloop of tongue of course 🙂 , looks like the lion statues. He’s very regal that one.
I love everything about today’s post, and many congratulations to the two new families. They have loads of bliss ahead of them!
Nola:YASSSSS! 🙂
Chip has one very long neck
