Weekly Instagram/Facebook/Tumblr Roundup.
8 of the 9 (Calais was on the other side of the room playing.)
Arundel and Millinocket, bonding.
Keeping watch over Eliot. (That looks like a glare, but I promise you that Arundel is a total sweetheart.)
Good night, innernets. (Eliot)
And now he has hurt his leg in some manner and only wants to sit on my shoulder, so I guess I’ll be sitting on the foster room floor with a sweet hot mess of a parrotkitten purring in my ear. (Buxton)
Hanging with the torties. (Calais, Buxton & Millie)
Good night, innernets. (Dexter)
Kitten room scrubbed and mopped, 9 kittens bathed (the 4 not in this picture are across the room in a crate on a heated pad). Took me 3 1/2 hours and will probably take them twice that to forgive me. I’m pretty sure you want my glamorous life.
Millinocket can’t stay mad at me, she’s too much of a snugglebug.
Good night, innernets. (Millinocket, Calais, Buxton & Kennebunk)
“Ex-CUSE you, innernets, can’t we get a little PRIVACY?!” (Buxton and Arundel)
It looks like the crate barfed up a bunch of kittens. (There’s a heated bed in there and they take turns piling up on it and then melting out the opening of the crate. There’s a second crate 3 feet away, but apparently this is the preferred location.) The upper respiratory infection has really taken hold of this bunch and they’re all suffering. They look and sound awful. They’re on meds (for the URI and topical stuff for the ringworm) and are getting hand fed every few hours. They’re a sad, hot mess right now, but some day we’ll look back at this and laaaugh (no we won’t. But we’ll be grateful it’s in the past!)
I know Buxton looks like a mess, but his eye is looking much better AND he’s eating on his own and was playing this morning! KennyBorkBorkMoop is feeling pretty good, too. They sound awful still, but that they’re eating and playing is awesome! Hopefully the others aren’t far behind.
We’re gonna need a bigger basket.

Video! Most of this video was from Wednesday evening, when Arundel and Otis were still feeling perfectly well (by Thursday morning they were both down with the upper respiratory infection too), and the last bit is from Saturday morning.

Totally missed this post (thank you very much, World Cup final…).
Kitten Clown Car is what that shot of them piling out of the crate is. Arundel is turning into quite the big sister/babysitter!
Me, too. But not because of soccer…too many chores!
Load those babies up and send them to me!
Playing catch up with the posts-poor little punkins! I’m so glad they have you to take care of them.
