Edited to add: The Bookworms? NEGATIVE!!!!!! YAY!!!
The boys are off to be tested and neutered in a little while. ‘Til tomorrow, here are some pictures I took the day before I went on vacation.
Awww, look at Gavin and Garrity, right there in the middle of the vegetable inspection!
All four Bookworms (click on the picture to go over to Flickr and see notes on who’s who), Lieu, Garrity, and Jake! Could we fit any more cats in one picture?
And by the way, so far only Sheila has been adopted (this can be partially explained by the fact that there was initially a litter of Siamese kittens in the very next cage. And you KNOW how people love the Siamese. They suck up all the attention!). The other four are at the adoption center. I’m hoping this weekend will be their lucky weekend!

We don’t get why the others weren’t adopted yet – before we had Gus we were totally looking for an orange baby. Which is part of why we have Gus now (he is orange and white). And the others are adorable too – we bet they will go this weekend.
And we are keeping our finger and paws crossed for the test to go well, and purring and praying for the surgeries to go ok – we are sure they will!
Siamese! They don’t know what they are in for! I’d take one of these guys over a Siamese 😀 (We have a half-Siamese he is one noisy/nosy/demanding little bugger.)
Oh Good luck with the Rescuees to be adopted!! So glad to hear Sheila got a furrever home!! Now for the rest of the Rescuees!!! – I have everything crossed for them!!!
Good luck too with the Bookworms and their upcoming vet visits!!
And it so sad to read about Challenger’s House. I also wish them lots of luck with their fundraising!
Take care

YAY FOR NEGATIVITY!!!!!!! WAY TO GO, BOOKWORM KITTIES!!!!!
Yes, I know ALL CAPS is considered shouting – but if you can’t
shout for joy over this, what can you shout about?
Prrrs to everyone!
Just because it’s not said enough, if I could only take one blog with me to my dessert island (yummy!), it would be yours.
Thanks for such entertaining blogging! I never miss an episode!
SOOOOOO relieved the Bookworms are negative!! Yayyyyyyyy!!!!
And to answer your question, yes, I believe you could fit at least 3 more kitties into that photo. It would, of course, take some tuna….
i love the far away shots of the bookworms’ spots. they’re all beauties!
