In case you missed seeing the post about it, Leia was on the news Friday!
I did take the camera with me, but ended up only snapping a couple of pictures that didn’t come out all that great. I didn’t get any pictures while the news segment was going on, because I was prepared in case Leia got crazy and needed to be handed off (she was fine – a little nervous, but fine).
She wasn’t scared of the other people (here, she was being petted by someone who was waiting to go on), she was just nervous about the whole situation. That mall is really loud, and people walking by on the second level freaked her out for some reason.
This was pretty much how she felt about the whole thing.

I think we can all tell exactly what move Scorch is considering here.
Have I mentioned that Ember is tiny but scrappy? She doesn’t hesitate for ONE moment to jump on one of her much bigger siblings.

After they’ve eaten and been pottied, they climb into my lap and roll around some more.

2005: For the most part Mister Boogers left the kittens alone, though Oy kept going over and sniffing at him, and he could hardly stand it, and he would growl and raise his paw to smack that kitten across the room, but then I would say “Mis. Ter. Boog. Ers.” in my Mean Lady voice, and he’d put his paw back down and walk away.
Hopefully Leia’s gorgeous presence will get all the kittens quickly adopted!!! [fingers crossed]

All of the kittens are just so wonderful, I want to kiss them all very much. I would actually like ‘kitten kisser’ to be my official job!
I can’t believe it’s been 6 years since Mister Boogers. Wow. Whenever my cats are giving me evils, I always think of his ‘het’! Miss you, Boogie!
Have you looked over at http://www.zooborns.com/ lately? Check out the baby Amur Tigers and baby snow leopards! I would want to be the official “Kitten Kisser” there, too! It would kill me to have to wear the gloves. I would probably get fired for huffing big cat kittens.

Norbert has earned a place of honor just like Stompers did! Your lion comment though made me think about the Wizard of Oz. Have you used a naming theme centered around that yet? Dorothy, Glinda and maybe Auntie Em for girls. Hunk, Zeke, Hickory, Professor Marvel, maybe even Toto.
I’m not sure if there’s been a full Oz theme – but I did have a Dorothy! 🙂
Oh my goodness, I shouldn’t laugh at Leia’s “OMG!!” face, but that second pic is amazing! And her tail in the first pic is sooooo floofy I just want to reach into the screen and fuss her! Here’s hoping all the little Royals get their forever homes soon!
