We’re edging ever closer to tomorrow morning, when the Rescuees will be going off to the adoption center. They don’t seem terribly concerned, though.
I could have fit a few more cats on that desk, don’t you think?
Bolitar, at home wherever he happens to land.
Pretty Lieu, in the sun. (And yes, Elayne, we pronounce it “loo” – he’s named after Lieutenant Kenny Shea in Rescue Me, who the guys call “Lieu.” I had no idea that the Queen’s-English version is pronounced “leff”!)

2009: Saying goodbye to Mister Boogers.
2008: Poor little monsters, they have no idea what’s coming!
2007: No entry.
2006: No entry.
2005: For the most part Mister Boogers left the kittens alone, though Oy kept going over and sniffing at him, and he could hardly stand it, and he would growl and raise his paw to smack that kitten across the room, but then I would say “Mis. Ter. Boog. Ers.” in my Mean Lady voice, and he’d put his paw back down and walk away.
It’s because the Rescuees have no idea what is instore for them tomorrow! When are the Bookworms going to get retested? I hope soon….easier to home as kittens than cats.
I love them all…..
I want to adopt the Rescuees!! Please send them over to the UK asap!
But seriously – thank you for rescuing them all and giving them the best start in life!!!!!!!!! I shall truly miss them! I hope they go to fabulous forever homes!
Gorgeous Bookworms and Joe Bob? I think that’s Joe Bob!
Take care

Good-bye and good luck Rescuees! We love you and we will miss you!!!!!

Yep, I see room for at least three more on that desk! Au revoir Rescuees! (‘Cause the adopters are going to send updates, right???!!!)
They are all so cute! We are sad the Rescuee’s are going but we are sure they will find wonderful forever homes!
I will miss seeing the Rescuees as they go find their forever homes. I honestly don’t know how you do your fostering work. I would not be able to let any of them go! I’m fully in love with Bolitar. I wish I could adopt him… but we’re already one cat over our apartment limit! YIkes!
GD: I get back from vacation in Maine on the 12th, and will be taking them to the vet later that same week. I have no doubt they’ll test negative this time around – but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed!
Old Kitty: I can only imagine the amount of hissing and smacking that would be going on in a box full o’ Rescuees. 🙂
Lisa: I sure hope so!
Tammy: Last night I was (not-very-seriously) trying to convince Fred that since we now have a dozen cats, we need a 13th to make a baker’s dozen. He didn’t go for it, though. 🙂
Where the heck is Miz Poo?????? 🙂
