Happy Tongue Out Tuesday from former foster Phoenix!
Debra said: She made me laugh, thought you might too. She had her tongue out for quite a while!
I LOVE IT when they sit there with their tongues sticking out, all casual like “What?” (Thanks, Debra!)

Lola’s having a snuggle with the stuffed dinosaur.
And giving Mr. Rattie the ol’ chomperoo.
Honey and Lola trying VERY hard to look innocent.
A basket full o’ cute. (Cutey, Benjamin and Bugs, in fact.)
Bugs shows off his bunny feet.
I’ve been trying REAL HARD to get a good picture of all 6 kittens, but am having not much luck. They’re still a little young to get the idea of the feather teaser.
Lola, Benjamin and Bugs at the milk bar (and said milk bar not wearing her collar. As long as I’m in the room and can keep an eye on her, I leave the collar off.)
Benjamin and his tortie sisters (Cutey on the left, Honey behind him.)
With the kittens now doing a great job of eating on their own (and LOVING canned food), it’s no surprise to me that they’re starting to gain weight. You can see their weight chart on their page, here, but in short Lola’s just a whisper under 2 pounds and Cutey’s the lightest at 1 1/4 pounds. Except for Lola they’re a little light for their age still (they turned 8 weeks old on Saturday), but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them hit 3 pounds by the time they’re 3 months old.

2015: One thing I know for sure: when I find a pile of kittens like this, it means they were all nursing, Lucy decided they were done, and the kittens were so milk-drunk they couldn’t be bothered to move.

The elusive Dewey! Sometimes I close my eyes and wish folks weren’t there too, sweetie. 😉
Best comment ever!
If he can’t see you, he’s not there, right??
Oh the whiskers on Bugs…
Phoenix is such a lovely girl! It’s so nice to get updates on past fosters.
