“Hey! What’re you doing, lady?!”
I have no news for y’all as far as Pita’s health goes – she goes for a test on Friday and sees the vet at that time, so I won’t know anything until late Friday (if then.)
I know the lack of details on her symptom is annoying to y’all, but she is under the care of a vet and once I know something I will let you know. I can reiterate that she is acting 100% normal, she is not in pain, she is playing and eating and snuggling like a normal kitten.

While Bolt considers the basket of toys, Dillydally and Skitter have a tussle.
Skitter is the king of the little blue cat tree. (Mosey is unimpressed – and I don’t know what Bolt and Lollygag are looking at over there to the right, probably Pita was racing around.)
I’ve been trying to get a shot of Skitter and Skip from above, so you can see their orange ears and tails. Looks like (as I’ve been saying) they’re going to be cream or flame points.
Pita shows how to stretch (BIG STRETCH!) and sharpen her claws at the same time, and Skip goes in for a close up view.
Meander’s all “Takin’ my picture again, lady?!”

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Good morning sunshine. (Bolt & Skitter)
The Hopalong kittens are 7 weeks old today! Their weights are below.
Bolt: 2 pounds, 1 oz (.94 kg)
Dillydally: 1 pound, 13 oz (.82 kg)
Lollygag: 1 pound, 15.5 oz (.89 kg)
Mosey: 1 pound, 14 oz (.85 kg)
Skip: 1 pound, 14.5 oz (.86 kg)
Skitter: 2 pounds, 1 oz (.94 kg)
And Pita is 4 months old today! (Or, if you prefer, 17 weeks + 2 days.) I don’t know exactly what she weighs today, but last I weighed her a couple of weeks ago, she was just under 4 pounds (1.81 kg).

Skitter climbs that cat tree like a monkey – and has no problem getting back down!
Talk about a milk coma – Mosey is OUT.

I call this one “Pita and the Fruitasan and the mouse toy and the ATTITUDE.”
I would not have expected her to be able to fit into the Fruitasan, and while she didn’t fit comfortably, she did manage to stuff herself in there (before I started making the video, of course.)
Good night innernets. (Skip, Bolt, Lollygag & Dillydally. Please note that Bolt has her leg draped over Skip.)

Love the milk coma pic! How did you get so lucky with that shot?!
I just happened to be in the room when it happened, and I took the picture as quickly as I could. And I was lucky, because a few moments later he woke up and rolled onto his side!
Pita and the Fruitasan: “If I fits, I sits.”
Are any of the Hopalongs eyes showing any signs of changing colour? It would be great if they stayed blue, as they seem to all have some siamese in them.
The colorpoints won’t change. Because eyes are internal, they remain at body temperature and will not form melanin to darken or change their eyes.
The picture of the two trees and six kittens is a postcard one. The Hopalong kittens look very cute. Have a lovely day xx
