Jay’s thinking about how darn cute he is.
And Jay hanging out in a bed under the chair in my office. Because why not?
Zelda and Nick, snuggled up for a nap.
Nap time with Zelda and Daisy! (I like to tell myself that Zelda is napping on the bed because she likes me, but I think we all know it’s still all about the mama.)
I saw this happening and I waited and waited for a smackdown to occur, but in the end Myrtle just stared Zelda down and walked away.

Wren’s all “I’m takin’ a NAP!”
Rufous certainly has his eye on me.
Unlike the Catsbys, who abandoned the crate and never returned, the Nestlings will still occasionally return to the crate for a nap. Plover’s all “You got a problem with that?”

Myrtle-Zelda pie? My favorite!
In case you missed it, Myrtle and Zelda are adoption pending (together). Nick (left) and Jay are still available; read their descriptions below and email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire. (They are going for their neuter surgeries on June 12th and would be able to go home a few days later.) They do NOT have to be adopted as a pair; they’re not bonded, and would do well with other cats (and probably nice dogs as well), but there must be a young cat or kitten in their new home to play and snuggle with.
JAY (DOB: 3-18-23, black and white, male) has been Mr Personality since the day he was born, and is always front & center and ready to be admired. He is SUPER playful, has a lot of energy, and LOVES to leap up after feather teasers or toys you toss for him. He’s very fond of ping pong balls, toys with feathers attached, and rattly mice (but #1 in his heart is ping pong balls.) He loves track toys, playing chase with his siblings, and then collapsing in a purring pile of cute. Once his excess energy is expended, he loves to snuggle and be petted. He’ll nap in your lap (or nearby) before waking up and racing off to play again.
NICK (DOB: 3-18-23, black, male) has been a little shy from the beginning – it takes him a few minutes to relax in new situations – but once he has a moment to adapt, he is just the sweetest boy. He’s very playful, but doesn’t care to be in the middle of a crowd. If there are a bunch of other kittens gathered around, he tends to hang back and watch from a distance. He is very playful and loves the feather teaser and ping pong balls, but will play with most any toy you want to toss for him. He loves track toys (finds them fascinating), playing chase with his siblings, and then snuggling up for a belly rub before drifting off to sleep.
We are located in Huntsville, Alabama. Out of area adoptions are allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption; these guys aren’t smart enough to follow a GPS (no offense, boys, but it’s true.) Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire!

I love it when the kittens (in this case Rufous and Plover) run toward me because they are SO STINKING CUTE.
Wren and Rufous have a tussle. (It looks here like she’s got the upper paw, but those skinny little feet of his can pack a wallop!)

Jay’s watchin’ birds out the window and being happy. Listen to that purr! (Bonus Daisy appearance, too.)
Yet another reminder that Daisy is AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.

Plover and Starling and Rufous in my lap, purrrrring. And then Plover and Starling in my lap purring, while Rufous and Wren are off playing.
Good night innernets. (Starling)

Wren and Starling, hanging out together. They are just so CUTE.
Wren loves hanging out on the tunnel scratcher and giving me attitude.

Wren and Rufous discovered that they can climb into the wash stand and then jump out, then climb back in and jump out 100 million times, and apparently it is a LOT of fun.
This is what it looks like when the kittens were trying to nurse and the milk bar got up and walked away. (Left to right: Zelda, Nick, Myrtle & Jay)
That is a lap full o’ cute, right there. (Starling in the back, Plovetater having her paw licked/bitten by Wren, and Rufous on the left.)
Good night innernets. (Nick, Zelda and Daisy)(They don’t actually sleep in my room – they stay in the foster room with the door closed for the night so that the permanent residents can come upstairs.)
Look look who’s 11 weeks old today! Practically all grown up, can you believe it? They’re going for their spay & neuter surgeries next week, on June 12th.
Myrtle & Zelda are adoption pending (together), but Nick, Jay and mama Daisy are all still available. (Email Forgotten Felines at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.)
Did you know that Daisy and all her toes are available for adoption? True story! Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.

Wren and Rufous playing (and Starling and Plover in my lap, getting kisses.) They certainly have fun together!
Plovetato slaps at Rufous as he heads through the scratcher tunnel (and little does he know that Wren is waiting for him on the other side!)
(The Nestlings are currently/still in the dining room, which now has doors. I moved the scratcher so the Nestlings could enjoy it, since the Catsbys are too big for it now.)

That’s a great idea!!!
All great pictures, but the “As does Plover” one really got me; sweet wee little thing.
