Jocasta peeking under the door to see what she can see, Roger playing with her tail (OF COURSE) and Brianna watching them both. (The rest of the kittens were on the cat trees sleeping.)
Fergus in the basket, with Jamie checking out the situation.
The kittens playing, while Jocasta enjoys the sun.
All 10 kittens, present and accounted for!
Oh that Jocasta, SUCH a pretty girl.
Angus shows off his spotted belly – and his beans.
Jenny’s all “Tryin’ to sleep here, lady.”
Marsali pie! My favorite! (We kind of have a lights-on, no-one-home situation going on here, it appears.)
Jenny and Jamie have a tussle.

It’s a rough life, ain’t it, Newt?

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Breakfast is served! (That blur in the middle is Lord John Grey, who does not join in on breakfast time, though he’ll come along and pick at the leftovers if he can stop playing long enough.)
Oh look! It’s Brianna pie! (My favorite!)

Fergus and Angus have a tussle – and have I mentioned that Roger really likes to bat at tails? True story!
Jamie and Lord John have a snuggle in the basket while Ian and Fergus look on.

It’s a particularly wild play time in the kitten room this afternoon!
Marsali is all “Is it time for the snuggles now?” And in fact it is!
Good night innernets. (Fergus, with attitude.)
“Don’t look, Ethel!” (Angus & Jamie)

Watching Roger play. Have I perhaps mentioned his predilection for tails?
Lizzie (left) and Jenny keep an eye on me. Someone’s gotta!
Good night innernets. (Fergus, back, and Ian)
Good morning! from Brianna, who just wants breakfast, thank you.
Lord John Grey’s got his bunny-kicker poised and ready for action.

Mama Jocasta decides that Fergus needs a little discipline (she’s far too nice, if you ask me.)
That’s just a bunch of kittens (8 of 10 – Brianna and Roger were in the litter box.) Clockwise from the top: Jamie, Fergus (in the basket), Lizzie, Jenny, Angus (left), Lord John Grey (gray with white locket), Ian (flopped down in the sun) and Marsali.
Good night innernets. (Lizzie, Angus and Brianna)

I love the photo of Jocasta looking in the mirror with Brianna complaining by her side. I’ve noticed Jocasta likes to admire her beauty in those mirrors a lot.
Brianna looks so much smaller than Lizzie and Angus in that last pic. Does a couple of weeks of age make that much of a difference?
Brianna is actually a few days older than Angus and Lizzie. Her small size is due to the rough shape she was in when I got her. She was terribly underweight and due to the upper respiratory infection, she wasn’t interested in eating. It wasn’t until the antibiotics kicked in (along with getting fluids regularly) that she started eating on her own. She’s eating (and gaining) great, but after a start like that, she may just always be smaller than she would have been otherwise.
