I wonder how it is that Scorch manages to stay the largest kitten of the litter? I never see him eating kibble, and it’s just in the past couple of days that I’ve been able to interest him in canned food. Hmm. It’s a mystery!
“He’s sucking the life out of me, lady.”
“You hear me, kid? Sucking the LIFE out of me!”
Yeah, yeah. She looks soooo miserable, right?
“I am going to grow up to be big and strong and all the OTHER Dragons are going to be little and weak and I will beat them up regularly.”
Ember, eyeballing the feather toy I was waving around.
All five in one shot! They weren’t looking at me, but you can’t have everything, can you?

So, the Royals are back from their spaying and neutering. And… tomorrow they’re off to Petsmart! Yes, that’s right, off they go. Can you believe they’re three months old already? Wasn’t it just yesterday that they were tiny?
I expect – hope! – that they’ll be adopted quickly, and I promise to let y’all know as soon as I know! (If you’re not on Facebook and thus cannot watch the Love & Hisses Facebook page, then you can watch the sidebar over there to the right; as soon as there’s been an adoption, I’ll slap an “ADOPTED!” in red over their picture and upload it, pronto.)
The Royals didn’t make a single peep on the drive to the spay/neuter clinic on Tuesday – which is kind of amazing, since they’d actually never ever been on a car ride – but when I picked them up yesterday morning, they had all KINDS of things to say to me. They took turns howling all the way home. Once we got home, I put them in their new (Khaleesi’s old) room, gave them a snack, and then they napped all day, occasionally coming to me for snuggling.
“I see what you’re doing, lady.”
Charming, keeping an eye on the goings-on.
Sweet Miss Buttercup. Doesn’t she have the most beautiful eyes?
“He is such a rude, rotten, stinky BOY.”

Tommy in the back yard, watching squirrels. Those squirrels drive the cats CRAZY.

Wow…all grown up! I have my fingers crossed that the Royals get adopted in an instant!!!
Tommy is a good looking boy!!!
Oh glad the Royals’ vet visit went well!! Awwwww and now off they go!! I have everything crossed they’re going to be adopted quickly – they seriously have mum Katie’s stunning looks and thanks to you are totally loveable huggable love bugs!!!!!!! Good luck and God speed lovely Royals!!!
Awwww mum and the Dragons are something else! Amazing looking family! Take care
x
good luck Royals!!! May you be adopted even faster than your mommy…..
and yep – squirrels are evil teases
Seriously, you’re letting the Royal’s go to Petsmart? But Buttercup’s so amazing. And Jareth, had my heart at go. And Leia’s so cute and Aslan’s such a love.
Charming however, I fear has world domination plans and is ready to take anything on.
My sweet prince charming…. oh my, is it that time already???? I will be visiting often today (won’t comment though, haha) to say good bye to the Royals… they (ALL OF THEM) have certainly been a joy to watch and have all implanted themselves in my heart! May they all be adopted by the most perfect families EVAH! and quickly! (and may updates be received in the future!!!) ~~~~ I will miss them… Whoa, oh, hey… on to fully and completely investing myself in the Dragons.. that Norbert and his late-sprung FLOOF! and Scorch… and Ember… and Hufflepuff… and Ruth, sweet, concerned Ruth… oh! okay….
Sorry to see the Royals go & can’t believe it’s time already. Wishing them all a speedy adoption. Good job Robyn on getting them ready for their forever homes. Wonderful work you’re doing for them.
Godspeed, excellent Royals — and long may you reign supreme in your new homes.
Noooooo!! We haven’t seen any interlitter cuddling!! 🙁
I know – it just wasn’t meant to be. We knew that Khaleesi’s natural born children were FIV & FeLV negative, but because we don’t really know the health status of Norbert’s mother, we had to be safe and keep them separate from the Royals. They were tested today (and everyone was negative), so I may let them say hello tomorrow before the Royals go off to Petsmart.
Yesssss! Looking forward to the pics!
By the way, I was on vacation in Spain from June 1st to 16th, but I still visited L & H everyday thanks to the wi-fi in my b&b. Only thing was I couldn’t look at the pics first thing in the morning because of the time difference, so it had to be in the evening. Couldn’t go 2 whole weeks without my kitteh fix!
I vote Aslan the first adopted – his fur is amazing. But Charming still has my heart. You couldn’t send him to New England could you? (just kidding) I have such a thing for fuzzy tuxies.
I will miss watching the Royal’s continue to grow. I hope they find their forever homes real quick. They will make some families so happy. Robyn you helped them to be such sweet, loving cuddles bugs. I do hope you get lots of updates from their families.
At least my daily kitty fixes will be satisfied by the Dragons and the permanent residents. Really need a Corbie fix !!!!
I was hoping that at least one of the Royals would have Kate’s eye color. Jareth and Buttercup definitely have that gorgeous orange… Does Charming?
Charming’s eyes are more green than that orangey-brown color. He’s got her floofy fur, though!
