Now that she’s well healed from her surgery, Meander’s available for adoption. If interested, email Forgotten Felines at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire. (You can read her description down in the social media section.)
It’s a Pita pie! (My favorite, of course.)
Pita hopes that if she hides, the customers will go away.
Little bit of attitude from Mosey.
“You know what you want yet?” asks Skitter.
Mosey’s done with work for the day and he is OUTTA here.
Pita demonstrates how to deal with mouthy customers.
Bolt takes a break while Skitter, Dillydally and Skip wait for customers to show up.

Khal is doing his best to stay cool. You’d think he’d go inside where there’s air conditioning, but what fun would that be?

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Bolt (left) and Skitter have a snuggle, and I hope that you’ve already noticed that Bolt’s tail is slung over Skitter, because that is the CUTEST.
Meander is AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. Read her description below and if she seems like your kinda gal email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.
We are located in the Huntsville, Alabama area; out of area adoptions are allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption, as Meander has proven to be a terrible driver.
MEANDER (Estimated DOB 10/14/22; female, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped) showed up on someone’s property, heavily pregnant and needing rescue. She came to Forgotten Felines and went into foster in mid-April, and gave birth to 6 kittens just three days later. She’s taken wonderful care of her kittens, and now that they’re older, it’s time for her to find her forever home where she gets to be the baby.
Meander can be a little wary at first – we imagine she’s been through a lot in her short life, but after some initial wariness, she warms up, and she loves to be petted. We think she was clipped by a car at some point before she came into rescue – she has a very slight head tilt. It doesn’t affect her in any way: her balance is great, she can jump up and down, she just looks a little bit quizzical from time to time like she’s questioning what you’re doing and why. In her foster home she hasn’t played much, though that’s not unusual when a cat has been busy raising kittens – she may very well turn out to be playful in the future. She is definitely interested in catnip! Currently, she mostly prefers to just hang out, be sweet, watch the birds out the window, and be petted. She was recently introduced to an older kitten in her foster home, and her reaction was a desire to be friends, so we are sure she would be great in a multi-cat house. She has not been around dogs, but would likely be fine with nice dogs as well.
Please email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.

Skitter is NAKED (he took his collar off) and Pita is NOT having any NAKED kittens on HER FOOD TRUCK. It’s not sanitary!
Look at these sweet little faces! Those are former fosters Sam Elliot (formerly Ciabatta) and Luci (Babka). Sarah reports that Sam has figured how to fetch – and Luci isn’t far behind! They’re learning to wear harnesses, they look out for each other, and though Luci is the brains of the operation (no surprise there!), Sam has his moments. Sarah is in L-O-V-E with these two, and I can’t say that I blame her! ❤️ (Thanks, Sarah!)
Pita and I were taking a nap, and suddenly Pita heard a cat walk through the room, and she got SUPER floofed! (It was Uncle Charlie, who she knows – but I guess he surprised her.)
Good night innernets. (Dillydally)

I love seeing the former fosters all snug and smug!
So glad to see Pita is doing well after her surgery still, and those Hopalong kittens remain unbearably cute, especially in combination with the food truck scratcher. The taco truck one we’ve seen in the past was great, but Chef Shrimpy’s seems even more appropriate!
(Also psst, Robyn: All of today’s “Previously” links go to June 18th posts, but it’s the 19th.)
Oops! Should be fixed now. Thanks for letting me know! 🙂
Wow, that is some suspicious look on Pita’s face (the floofed pic)!
