Two things of note: First of all, the kittens were initially scheduled for their spay/neuter surgeries yesterday, but due to circumstances beyond our control and not for any reasons that reflect negatively on the kittens (basically, kitten season has hit like a tsunami, and some other cats desperately needed spaying/neutering ASAP), it didn’t happen. They’re now scheduled for next Wednesday, and I have no doubt it’ll happen then.

Oh! Right, there was a second thing. That second thing is that while we were packing auction items for shipping on Monday, we paused for a little while because we had visitors, which culminated in this bit of news.
That’s right, the sisters will be going home together!
This leaves Almanzo as the only kitten available, and of course Charles and Caroline are available still.

Mary is today’s ray of sunshine – Albert’s her understudy.
Almanzo and his Pa, watchin’ birds.
Willie thinks Pa makes an excellent pillow.
Pa and 4 of the 5 kittens. (Almanzo was elsewhere.)
These kittens have turned into such stringbeans. (Mary)
Caroline’s like “There’s always some kitten with his butt in my face.”

Alice Mo in the sunshine… her favorite place to be!

Yay on the pending adoptions!!
I can’t believe how many times you have made it in Cats Beavers and Ducks. Those kittens are quite desirable! 🙂
I LOVE Cats Beavers and Ducks. 🙂
Alice is looking very Norma Desmond (“Get out! Or, shall I call my servant?”).
That’s such great news for Laura and Mary! It won’t be long before some lucky families snatch up Almanzo, and Ma and Pa.
I tell ya, if I didn’t have a terminal kitty with kidney failure, I’d drive right up to Huntsville and get Ma, Pa and Almanzo.
I think Caroline and Charles should take up permanent residence, just sayin.
I like Charles’ bunny paws too!!
What a bunch of stressballs. Honestly, Robyn. Can’t you get them to chill out a little?
It’s all I can do to not get in my car and drive down there and bring Charles and Caroline home with me! Although that would put me one cat over my HOA limit — but my Allie and Caroline look so much alike and Allie is a hider…. No, no, no! I can’t!
Since kitten season’s heating up and you’ll have some vacancies soon, are you going to get new tenants? I’m very much looking forward to what you have brewing down at Crooked Acres. Your current place did inherit that name, right?
Almanzo can go with Ma & Pa! Sorted.
Almanzo is the only kitten left available for adoption! To refresh your memory of this lovely ball of fluff, here are zero pictures of Almanzo.
;-D Sorry, I found that very amusing.
HA – that’s actually him on top of the scratcher with Charles, I mislabeled him as Albert. Or should I say… “If you REALLY want to see what he looks like, you’ve gotta adopt him!” 😛
