Ibby pointed out that Norbert is woefully underrepresented in the Dragons’ pictures. This is because he tends to hang out in the back of the crate or under his siblings.

Puff and Scorch have been toddling to the opening of the crate and peeking out at the world beyond more and more often. No one’s actually made it outside the crate (that I know of yet), but it’ll be happening pretty soon, I’m sure.

If you look closely, you can see the difference in their eye colors. Charming (left) has greener eyes, Buttercup’s are more brown-gold.

Thanks for the Norbert close-ups — his white eyeliner makes him look terribly distinguished, even professorial! Buttercup’s eyes are amazing, too. I give in: both litters are great. Many thanks for the Saturday scoop, Robyn, and the Newt and Jake shots are a delight. I wonder if any of the babies will end up as lifers like that lucky twosome. And have you ever thought of doing a 365-day Crooked Acres calendar? You already have more than enough shots and super captions to choose from.
I have thought of doing a 365-day calendar and would love to, but Cafepress doesn’t offer that sort of thing, and I haven’t found any other places that offer a daily print-on-command calendar. I think that you have to have a publisher backing you on something like that (as Cute Overload does).
Someone should adopt Leia and Aslan together, what a pair they’d be!
The latest batch of kittehs are growing like weeds. Peering out at the world, seeing a big, scary place out there… But curiosity will soon lead them out to discover that big, bad room!

Oh my… please don’t tell him… Norbert does NOT look anything like his brothers and sisters, his head shape and cheeks… (sad face). Anyways, he’s still a cutie… Prince Charming has stolen my heart. (They all have really… both sets of kitties). It may be just me, as I don’t think they’re that old, but Newt and Jake in that last picture just scream Walter Mattheau (sp?) and Jack Lemmon in Grumpy Old Men… coming in second would be Statler and Waldorf from The Muppets… Ok. Hey Robyn, have you see this cat toy before? A friend works for a local drug store chain and they’re going to start carrying it – he tested it out on his own cat! https://vine.co/v/bEL9KOdxPLP He said they have to put it away out of sight or the cat would play with it 24×7!
I have seen that! I actually had one, and the kittens managed to keep breaking the “arm” off – or just sitting on the toy so that it would stop moving. I’ve still got one around here somewhere, I believe, I just need to find it and get it out. 🙂
It seems the two oldest, Ruthie and Norbie, have formed a bond. They seem to be close to each other most of the time.

All of the dragons are beyond precious….but if I had to take two (no arm twisting would be required) it would be Ruth (I am a sucker for her coloring and her belly slays me) and Puff. Scorch is right behind….
You naming Saturday Kitterday makes me smile (and nostalgic) everytime I see it. I had a cat Kitter Kat (aka Kitters) that I got for Christmas in 1986. She was the coolest, smartest, mama lov’n cat ever. She passed in Oct 2003. I still miss her today. You know…she was one of the really special ones.
By the way, that is why my email address is what it is. I opened that email account when she was 13. 🙂
