Just a reminder that the online auction is still going on (it ends Saturday at 5 pm Central Time), with new items added every morning. Yesterday was Whiskers in the Kitchen Wednesday and some very cool stuff went up, including…
Go check out the auction; you just might find something you have to have.

Charles is all “How YOU doin’?!”
Almanzo’s all “HI Pa! Whatcha doin’ down there?!”
I love this picture so much. I wish Caroline was in it, but she wanted none of my nonsense. Left to right: Albert, Laura, Almanzo, Mary, Willie, Charles.
Laura, Mary and Almanzo, all snuggled up for a nap and feelin’ smug.
“Lookit my toes!” says Albert.
“What?” says Willie. “Haven’t you ever seen a guy get a pawdicure?”
Pa seems to be having a disturbing thought.
Yep, they’re still nursing. But only for very short periods of time, and not nearly as often.
And Caroline’s weight is stable, right around 6 pounds, 12 ounces for the past month or so. She’s still pretty small, but she’s not skin and bones the way some of our previous moms have been.
You can see the kittens’ weight chart at the bottom of their page, here. Their combined weight is now 18 pounds, 12 ounces, which puts them at more than double Caroline’s weight, and in fact they weigh several pounds more than Charles, too.

OH, that Khal. Have I mentioned how magnificent he is? Probably not.

Albert there with all his toes in the air is just asking for a belly rub which I will happily provide him…
Charles has THE sweetest face!
The 2007 blog post…oh Robyn – you are hilarious.
Oh my, I forgot all about that post. I’ve got tears running down my face from laughing. If it’s not in the favorite list it sooo needs to be. Too damn funny.
I’ll check and add it if it isn’t already there – I still giggle about that!
I love those teeny girlcats like Caroline. Reminds me of my littlest (Pandora, now gone to the bridge), who was 7lbs at her heaviest, and 5lbs at her lightest as an adult. Delicate and snuggly. <3
Those tiny girls are something special!
Ellie and Arwen want to know where their coasters & mugs are because their momma doesn’t need any more coasters or mugs, but she would have bid on them if the girls were on them! LOL Such great items in the auction.
What I SHOULDA done was make a coaster (or mug) for each of last years’ fosters… but I was in a rush and just grabbed the first pictures I saw. 🙂
Seeing the kitchen accessories available for the auction I had the thought that you really need to make kitchen towels with Archie on them ! Especially pictures of him keeping you safe from the mean towels !!
Oh good lord – how did I not think of that?! I’m going to keep that in mind for the next auction. 🙂
Pa looks like a big, lumbering Yeti in that first picture, next to his son/daughter!
That. Koop still has the most triangular head outside of a sci-fi movie.
Moop, that Moop
Caroline’s all like “OH NO, IT’S COMING!!”
and Charles is like “What is it, anyway?”
I like how Almanzo is saying his prayers behind Pa there 🙂
