That picture of The Seven, re-posted on the Cute Overload, brought me to your blog, and I never left!
That picture made it into the Cute Overload daily calendar in 2011! I was excited – it’s been kicking around in my desk drawer these past 13 (!) years, and I finally got around to framing it and hanging it on the wall.
(I miss Cute Overload.)

I accidentally woke Ciabatta up, and he’s not happy.
I was waving a toy over Crumpet’s head, and she was having a good time swatting at it.
Pita and Babka have the giggles.
Pumpernickel, Pita and Crouton were up there (looking at the feather teaser), and Babka was like “What is going ON up there?!”
Crouton didn’t want Ciabatta’s ear to be in the way of her cute face.
My favorite part of this picture is Ciabatta’s crazy eyes. I think he was about to give Crouton the ol’ chomperoo, but it looks like he’s yelling at her.
And there’s a nice shot of all 5 of them. Pita and Pumpernickel in the back, Ciabatta, Crouton and Babka in the front.

Rocco in the sun, in the garage, atop a heated bed. It cooled down a bit recently, and we wouldn’t want the poor dear to freeze, would we?

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
(Crumpet is available for adoption; email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.)
Look at the three musketeers, in a snuggly pile of cute. That’s former fosters Stardust and Phoenix (Mercury’s Missions litter, 2017) and big sister Amber (formerly Ambercup, one of the Squash Bugs, 2015). They’re all snuggled up and waiting for the storm to hit (they live in Maine these days.) How sweet are they!
(Thanks Debra!)

Here’s a longer video, as requested: 3 minutes of the kittens playing like the little goobers they are. They crack me UP.
Throw Back Thursday: After I posted the picture of Crumpet pie this morning, I started wondering who was in the very first pie picture I posted, and it turns out it was these two: Badger (left) and Skinny Pete, bottle babies back in 2015. And here’s a shot of the two of them with their brother Combo in what I like to call a kitten bouquet. (It turned out that Skinny Pete was a girl, but we left her name the same, because why not?) (All three kittens were adopted, but not together. I haven’t gotten updates on any of them in a few years, but last I heard they were doing great!)
Side note on the pie plates: I am down to my last few pie plates – they’ve been out of stock on Amazon for months now. I keep hoping that either they’ll come back into stock (I doubt that will happen) or someone else will start selling them (possible!) Every few weeks I spend an hour searching to see if I can find them anywhere, and have had no luck. So if the pie plate pics stop showing up, that’s why. And if you see them somewhere, let me know!

Nope! No babies here!
Throw Back Thursday: from 2019, the very first picture of kittens in (and near) the Fruitasan. That’s Laura in the Fruitasan and Willie nearby. (I haven’t received any updates on Laura – who was adopted with Mary – recently, but you can see Willie with his brother Albert on Instagram at @albertandwillie !)
That Fruitasan, which I bought from Pier1 for $20 5 years ago, has held up remarkably well given how rough the kittens tend to be with it. It’s just now starting to fray in a few spots. It might not last forever, but it’s already lasted longer than I expected it to! (Pier1 no longer sells them.)
Good night innernets. (Pumpernickel)

That sure was some wicked storm we had here in the north east on Thursday 4/4/2024.
Hmm, haven’t heard of this one; will have to check that out. (Thanks for the name clarification, Debl) 🙂
Thanks for the suggestion!
I miss Cute Overload too. HOWEVER – as long as we have this very blog, I’m a happy camper. (Robyn please don’t ever stop this blog… I mean, no pressure. But please don’t stop, haha.)
As for those Crumbs — today’s group pictures are crazy cute!!
I have no plans to stop! 🙂
