All eyes on me. From left: Myrtle, Zelda, Jay and Nick.
Little posers. But wait – where’s Nick?
“I don’t wanna be in your lap, lady!” (No, he didn’t climb into my lap – they’re not leaving the crate yet. And yes, after he complained I put him back. Please note that Daisy (upper right corner of the picture) was completely unconcerned. She has no problem with me handling the kittens.)
Myrtle in my lap, all “Well, this is weird.”
A look at Myrtle’s back. Such a pretty design!
Jay’s all “Mama, you are so far away and I don’t understand how to step out of the crate yet.”
And Daisy’s all “Yep, that’s a conundrum all right, kid.”
“What doin’, lady?” wonders Zelda.
Myrtle, annoyed. “What the – ? Who keeps kicking me in my butt?!”
Jay says “Look! I’m doing the Dead Armadillo pose!” and Myrtle says “No, you’re doing it WRONG. Your legs are extended too far – you have to let them flop, you can’t hold them way up like that!” and Jay says “I’m happy with it, so HUSH.”
Line ’em up! From left: Nick, Myrtle, Jay and Zelda.

If you’re looking at this picture and saying “Holy MOLY does that magnificent creature shed a LOT,” you are correct. I clean the fur off that chair at least every 3rd day, and somehow it becomes coated in fur again nearly immediately. Khal is the sheddingest shedder who ever did shed (and yes indeed he gets brushed pretty regularly), so it’s a good thing he’s so sweet (and also, perhaps I’ve failed to mention? Magnificent.)

Jay’s all “LADY. Nick is bein’ a lazybones and won’t get up and toddle around the crate with me!”
Former foster Phoenix (one of Mercury’s Missions from 2017) is just too cute. (The little tabby patch above her eye just gets me every single time. SO CUTE.)

2 week old kittens = toddlers. What do toddlers do? That’s right, they toddle. Toddling here, toddling there, all over the crate.
4-kitten pie! My favorite! (Left to right: Zelda, Nick, Jay & Myrtle)

The Crate Catsbys in the crate: first we wrassle, then we get some baths from mama, and then Nick pokes himself in the eye. I call that a full day, really.
Nick’s all “Is it just me, or does Myrtle’s butt seem to be in my face ALL THE FRICKIN’ TIME?”
Good night innernets. (Nick (front) and Zelda (middle) are out cold already, and Jay is giving Myrtle a goodnight kiss.)

Khai, the magnificent, sheddiest shedder ever! So handsome.! Ms. Daisy has the CUTEST babies ever. Love their expressions. Have a wonderful Tuesday, Robyn! Time for me to go vote! Huge election here in Wisconsin….
The Goodnight Kiss is just too cute!!
The picture of the upside-down kittens is especially adorable!
Is it Zelda who is the tortie and has the extra toes? It is really easy to see in the toddler toddling video.
It is! I keep trying to get a picture of her toes with her lying on her back, but she’s not having it (yet).
The kittens are the most adorable butterballs ever!
