Poppi goes climbing, and Moxie doesn’t appreciate the imposition.
Sodapop comes out of the donut tunnel to see what the what is going on here.
And smacks at the drawing of Dr. Elsey!
Still haven’t seen anyone on that long shelf, but Poppi is certainly interested.
Sundrop figured out how to get up on the Churu desk and is all “You gots Churu?”
Sundrop goes for a climb… and look who’s figured out the Churu desk in the background!

Rocco took a stroll through the house and had to flop down in the kitchen for a rest and to give me the hopeful eyes.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
Former foster Rupert (formerly Richie) is one adorably snuggly boy. (Thanks, Sharon!)

The Pops kittens got a field trip to my office (which is where they spent their first several weeks before they moved to the foster room), and Stapler wanted to come in and say hi. It was a very short visit from Stapler, but I think it went well!
Sundrop is all “How YOU doin’?”

Sundrop is being VERY fresh with his mama, and Sodapop is like “What is wrong with you, child?”
Poppi’s tail is getting so dark! I suspect she’s going to be very interesting looking (and beautiful!) when she’s all grown up.
Good night innernets. (Stapler. That blanket was on the bed, and she burrowed in there herself. Took me the longest time to figure out where she was – I could hear her purring, but couldn’t see her anywhere!)

My favorite banner!!
Which one did you get? I like them all, of course, but my all-time favorite has to be the one where three Squash Bugs are imprisoned behind cage bars – standing up and clawing at said bars while desperately howling to be rescued from the dire straits in which they have found their bow-legged, pot-bellied little selves. (The drama! The woe!)
“Nobody knows … ” That’s my all-time favorite banner, too!
Thank you Robyn and Fred for providing a place where I can read about mostly happy and loving things. Love and Hisses has been part of my day for a loooong time, fifteen years or more I think. My partner has been reading posts from you and Fred from even before L & H. Anyway thanks for posting the uplifting and not the bad stuff out there. Even though there are posts that make me cry when we have to say good bye to our furry on-line friends I am grateful.
Thank you for following, Ann! 🙂 (I always try to keep this a happy place!)
Ok, the “And smacks at the drawing of Dr. Elsey!” picture – LOVE It. There’s a lot going on there. Sodapop (tail UP) visible in the heart mirror. Poppi’s insanely sweet little profile. Her look of intense concentration. Not to mention the back legs situation where one back foot is already where she’s going and the other is still on the ground. (For some reason I find it so cute to see kittens steppin’ on up like that.)
That’s one of my favorite things, when they have one foot on the ground and one on whatever they’re climbing onto!
Stapler’s white LAYDEE gloves are the best!
