The kittens turned 11 weeks old yesterday! Here’s what they look like now:
You can see their weight chart at the bottom of their page here, but in summary everyone but Pablo is now over 3 pounds (Carmelita just barely). Pablo’s at 2 pounds 11 ounces, which is where Carmelita was last week, so he may hit 3 pounds before their spay/neuter surgeries a week from today. We’ll see!

Wanna see something amazing?
And almost exactly one month later:
And this is what Isabella’s left side (I considered that her “bad side”, but her right side wasn’t much better) looked like when we first got her.
And what it looks like now:
She’s still got thin spots on the backs of her legs, but she’s not overgrooming or itchy, so I think it’s just a matter of time. She is INCREDIBLY thin because the kittens are still nursing occasionally. I’d feel sorry for her, but I’ve personally witnessed her waking up the kittens and calling them to nurse, and have also witnessed her not allowing them to nurse if she doesn’t want them to, so she’s really got no one but herself to blame here.
Isabella and her mini-me, Carmelita.
Pablo and Diego and the feather teaser.
Pablo and the intensely loony eyes.
Just as a reminder and if you hadn’t heard, we have adoptions pending on all the kittens.
Carmelita without another sibling, but there’ll be siblings in her new home to play with.
And Javier and Alejandro TOGETHER.
The lineup, left to right: Diego, Alejandro, Javier, Pablo & Carmelita.

Great news on the kittens, no PetSmart for them!
The loony yellow toy back left of Pablo’s loony face!!
Dang! Isabella surely made some beautiful kittens! How could she not – she’s lovely herself! So glad her skin/fur issue is getting better and so glad her babies all have their forever homes waiting for them! Oh, Newt! You handsome ginger boy! Happy hump day, y’all! Make it great! PS: Robyn – I thoroughly enjoy the videos you’ve been sharing of ‘afternoon kitten antics’!!!! Keep ’em comin’! The disco ball was awesome!!!
The loon! The kittens, current and previous should know that they have gotten me through two fires (No. California, no we didn’t have damage to ourselves or homes, but it amazingly similar to SIP on a much shorter timeline), breast cancer and the “RONA”. Thank you Love & Hisses!
That is SO going on here. Mom sounds all grouchy some times about the kittens nursing and yet the other day woke them all up. Geez
Am I the only one in love with Alejandro’s little mini fauxhawk he has going on in his 11 week picture? It amazes me that two little grey fluffy kittens can so easily be distinguished by the loons or lack thereof.
Isabella has healed beautifully, and the kittens are cute as can be. And Newt is just a handsome drink of water.
But that crocheted blanket? To.die.for.
I’m a knitter first, but taught myself to crochet a few years ago. I love trying new patterns, and the colours Fred used are perfect! Is that a simple granny square design or some other fancy schmancy stitch? Really, really beautiful, my compliments to a fellow stitcher!
