If you’ve been reading long enough, you’ll recall the Mainers, 9 kittens, some related and some not, that we fostered last summer. They were a HOT MESS, the whole bunch of them, and required many baths as we dealt with ringworm among the whole bunch of them.
Two of those kittens were Dexter, who looked like this.
And Millinocket (Millie), who looked like this.
Together, they looked like this.
They were adopted – together! – and went home to Kentucky. Dexter is still Dexter, and Millinocket is now Molly. This is how they look now!
Aren’t they fabulous? They are going to turn a year old in a couple of weeks, which seems impossible to me. Sharon reports that Molly is quite the explorer and Dexter is always right behind her.
Don’t you love seeing those sweet floofy babies again? (Thanks, Sharon!)

I was out in the back yard and looked up to see this serious little face watching me (look in the corner left of the window.) So judgemental.
Albert can’t imagine why there’s so much cat hair on this couch. It’s a travesty, really.
Almanzo in the sun, with attitude.
Just a note: the kittens will be going for their spay/neuter surgeries on May 21st, which is three weeks from tomorrow. Two of them are spoken for (Willie and Albert, going home together), which leaves Laura, Mary and Almanzo, and Charles and Caroline still available for adoption. If you’re interested in adopting any of the remaining kittens or Charles and Caroline, it’s time to email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG and get the ball rolling.

Dexter and Molly are even more gorgeous now than when they were kittens, if that’s possible. Thanks for the update.
Love seeing Molly and Dexter, so fluffy and smug!
Thank you Sharon,
I think Caroline was having less a think and more of a wow,man moment after all that fresh herb.
OMG Milly/Molly is so gorgeous. I knew I loved that group! I’d love to see the others, Calais and… the other calico/tortie, forget her name.
Molly was my fav from that batch of gorgeous kitties. So glad to see she and her bro are thriving, living large in their forever home!
The current batch are looking almost done…soon ready for their homes. All are, as usual, healthy, well-adjusted and going to make special pets for some lucky folks!
So nice to see the Mainers! They look very happy!!
Oh, yes, Dexter and Molly (Millie) have grown up most gorgeously. I hope we see more pics in the future!
How could anyone forget those sweet floofy little faces! So good to see them again, they look so happy. 🙂
Wow, Almanzo in the picture of “Almanzo in the sun…” is certainly giving you a seriously judgemental look! Considering he’s in the midst of his “duh, of course I know it all…” teenager years, that’s to be expected.
Is Jakey lying on 2 beds?
