The Forgotten Felines of Huntsville May auction starts on May 9th, which is LESS than three weeks (like and follow the page here), and here’s a peek at what you can look forward to seeing.
Those are crocheted kitties inspired by our very own permanent residents, made by a wonderful Forgotten Felines supporter (that is Sheriff Mama in the middle back, and the hat, badge and holster KILL ME), and they are just the tip of the amazing iceberg. So go like and follow the page, you won’t want to miss out!

“I’m the king of this here mountain,” Diego informed Javier, who didn’t look terribly convinced.
“I don’t believe you are,” said Javier. “I believe perhaps I am.”
Give Pablo a box and some cut up toilet paper roll tubes and he’s happy.
Diego says “This is an excellent box.”
“Well,” says Alejandro. “I’m not getting involved in whatever’s going on over THERE.”
I believe Carmelita has reached shenanigan overload and would like me to PUT that camera DOWN.
The kittens are slowly expanding their horizons throughout the upstairs during the day. They still spend most of their time in the foster room, that’s their safe space. I’m not even sure they’ve noticed the big cat tree in my room yet, but I look forward to finding them all on it at some point.

Was Dewey deputized? He seems to be on patrol.
He likes to do a quick surveillance of the back yard before he settles in for his nap(s).
Those crocheted kitties are absolutely amazing & super adorable! I love that she captured the permies but now I feel a connection to each one of them and want the whole set, dammit! 😀 What a wonderful donation; I’ll be bidding for sure and I hope they raise a lot of money!
Carmelita’s picture is the most adorable annoyed kitten look I’ve ever seen!
Is that a Khal crocheted kitty I spy??!! That is freakin’ awesome.
Would you look at Javier channeling his inner Tenzing Norgay to climb Mt. Scratcher…
That is a crocheted Khal, isn’t it great?
Carmelita is most definitely over your shenanigans! Next, she needs to perfect the Ears of Annoyance.
I want the doll of Jake the Loon!
“reached shenanigan overload”
yup, that’s exactingly where I am this Monday morning. I’m last person still at work and co-worker (all working for home) want me to do just one favor for em……
Thank you Thank you!!! for the kitty cuteness to get me thru the Monday crazy.
Nope sorry I think you’re done for the day you need to go home
OMC I’m in the same situation at work! As they say, no good deed… 😀
I love the tiny tea towel included with the Archie crochet!! Wish I could afford even one of these. Best of luck to those of you planning on getting the whole set.
Do I spy a prior comment noting there’s a crocheted Khal in that set? Squeeeee! Please don’t tell me someone crocheted a track toy for him. XD I’m also picturing crocheted Alice of many colors, and am melting. What on Earth would a crochet slice of ham look like, since I’m assuming there’s not a doll of her Daddy-o for crafted!Alice to adore?
Seriously though, do you have to be a facebook member to join the auction shenanigans? I’m not (facebook creeps me out) but badly want in on the fun.
There IS a crocheted Khal in the set, but no track toy included, at least not this time.
Unfortunately you do have to have a Facebook account to bid, though I THINK you can see the pictures and could theoretically ask someone else to bid for you. I would love to be able to do a non-Facebook auction, but the auction software I’ve looked at is expensive and requires an ongoing membership that would cut too much into the profits.
Can we see each doll individually? I didn’t see half of these details and don’t see them on the fab page.
And is some snuggling w earl the squirrel?
I’ll share individual pics of them once the auction is going – this pic was mostly meant to be a tease to get people interested. 🙂
