ATTENTION PLEASE: Would Patricia N., who sent us some Chewy gift cards from our Amazon wish list, please report to me? I’d like to thank you properly, and Amazon no longer provides email or mailing addresses, because they’re just MEAN. (Those gift cards couldn’t have come at a better time – we were dangerously low on Churu. The kittens and Sodapop are VERY grateful!)

Fanta finally made it up onto the curvy shelf, and Moxie was like “How did you do that?!”
“You gotta engage your core muscles!” said Fanta.
Checking things out (she’s been up this far before, I’m not sure what had her so fascinated.)
This time she made it to the upper bed!
Well I don’t love THIS, but I have no one to blame but myself.
Poppi, all “It’s a whole new world!”
Poppi, checking out the upper bed. (I assure you, that shelf is straight. This picture is just taken from a weird angle.)
“What doin’, lady?” wonders Sundrop.
Sodapop’s been up here before. She’s not that impressed.
Feather teaser up there, ya think? YEP.

Rocco likes to hang out behind the back yard, keeping an eye on things. This reminds me of the pictures I have of Newt sitting on the fence post at Crooked Acres…
And Frankie too.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
It’s a Sodapop pie (my favorite!) to start off your day right!
Poppi in the pink Adirondack, looking adorable. Her tail is getting so dark!
Everyone finally made it up to the curvy shelf! From left: Sodapop, Moxie, Poppi, Sundrop and Fanta.

Sodapop and the track toy: she’s GONNA get that ding dang ball if it’s the last thing she does!

Good night innernets. (Fanta & Moxie)

Awwwww… So sweet to see old pics of Newt and Frankie. I have a soft spot in my heart for Ginger kitties.
Oh, I love Poppi’s tail!! It’s gotten so dark.
Aww, great to see Newt & Frankie pics. Maybe need some Stephan for more orange goodness.
Will send some Churu.
Even though Rocco is copying sweet Newt in the fence post pose, is it not endearing the freeloader to you yet?
Last weekend I adopted a cat from the local shelter in Phoenix called Lost Our Home. I’m walking on eggshells while she de-stresses and acclimates. I want so much for her to feel confident she is safe. Right now she only likes the hide-y holes I have set up for her in her room.
I don’t hate Rocco, but I am not overly fond of him either (though he is certainly amusing when he strolls through the house as Fred follows, and then Rocco suddenly VEERS over to where he thinks he’s spotted some food.)
Be patient – it takes time for them to acclimate (up to three months – sometimes more.) I’m sure you know this, but I also know how hard it can be to be patient when you want to be friends NOW. 🙂
Thank you, Robyn!
Suddenly the little ones’s ears have been replaced with radar dishes, sheesh.
And they (especially the boys) suddenly have long, long legs!
