The crumbs seem to have started toddling around sooner than most and with less clumsiness? Am I right or have I not paid enough attention?
They’re pretty much right on target for their age. They go so quickly from rolling around on their backs in the crate to walking and running and jumping that it always seems like they must be ahead of the curve – but nope, they’re right where they need to be (though they’re on the early side of showing interest in Crumpet’s food.)

Dewey realized that Khal and Newt were on the bed, and had to go up and check it out.
I thought for sure he was going to curl up for a nap with them, but nope. He just looked ’em over and went along his way.
Ah yes, the box o’ paper. Always a hit!
Huey and Dewey check out the view.

Crumpet gets a hug from Pumpernickel.
Crouton in the crate; everyone else hanging out in front of the crate.
Pita has a yawn while Babka (front) and Ciabatta look amused.
Babka wandered off, and Ciabatta (back), Pita (right) and Pumpernickel posed.
All is going well with Crumpet and her Crumbs. After bragging to Fred yesterday that I hadn’t found a single accident from the kittens and that they were perfect litter box users, I discovered that they’d been peeing in a corner of the crate (I am thankful for washable pee pads!) Not sure when they did it, or how many times, but accidents are par for the course at this point.
I’ve spotted all of the kittens sniffing around Crumpet’s canned food and the bowl of dry food, but only Pita has actually eaten any of it yet. This is actually on the early side – I’m not used to them being interested in mama’s food ’til after 5 weeks. Pita is just a little smartypants, obviously.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Crumpet’s getting some sass from Babka.
There’s a little bit of attitude from Dewey. Maybe ’cause I’d just referred to him as “the little prince.” 👑

The Crumbs work on their climbing and running skills. And when there’s a cat tree just a few feet away, why not try climbing the crate? Makes sense to me!
Pita’s all teef and whiskers and emo hairdo.

Permanent resident Alice has NO USE for these ding dang kittens, and she’ll smack ’em if they need it. (Bonus: if you look to the right of the couch, you’ll see Charlie in the pink bed under that table, and Khal on the brown recliner.)

Oh Alice Mo! The only one not in love with the fluffy creamsicles. Though the photo of them on the bed with the look on Newt and Khal’s face is pretty funny.
I hope Babka and Ciabatta are adopted together. Practically twinsies and such awesome whiskers!
Do you have or know of any orange kitties for adoption.
No.
