Stapler thinks “Hmmm. I could go for a jump!”
Stapler is going home next weekend; she’s traveling a bit (rather than going home locally), and so this week we are getting her used to the harness she’ll be wearing, and we’ll be going for rides in the car so that she’s used to that. Our first ride was yesterday – just a quick 20-minute drive – and at first she protested loudly, but then she settled down and just periodically objected. From past experience, I predict that as the rides get longer this week (half an hour today, an hour tomorrow), she’ll adjust. She’s not confined in a small carrier, there’s a pop up kennel in the back seat with a litter box and a comfy bed, so she’s got room to stretch out.

And Moxie giving Poppi the Ears of Annoyance because Poppi came up to strike a pose for me.
Sundrop giving Moxie the ol’ slapperoo.
New mirrors by the door! I originally got those cloud-shaped mirrors (Amazon affiliate link) to put up over the wall shelves. But then I decided I’d rather put the stars on the wall, so now there are a bunch of floor-level clouds. (I want to replace that large heart by the clouds with a moon or sun mirror, but can’t find one I like.)
Moxie and Sundrop have a tussle.
Can I interest you in a warm basket of Sundrop?
Poppi continues to amaze me with just how MUCH she loves her Churu. Look at those grabby paws! “MINE.”
Fanta. I love that they’re still using the Fruitasan. Usually by now they’ve started ignoring it, but these guys just love it.

“What doin’, Auntie Alice? What doin’?”

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) this weekend.
Please admire Poppi’s very sharp and shiny toofs.
Former fosters Patches (gray & white; formerly Art Vandelay) and Peri (gray; formerly Bert Macklin) are just so CUTE. (We fostered them in 2016 as part of the Fakers litter; they were Regina Phalange’s kittens.) (Thanks, Kristin!)

Stapler is such a cute little chatterbug – and BOY does she love that teaser.
Never in one million years would I have guessed that when it came time to introduce the Pops to Churu, Poppi would be the one who’d be SUPER EXTRA CRAZYPANTS over it. She’s been pretty uninterested in solid food so far, but she took one sniff of the Churu and was immediately 100% on board. Check out the helpin’ paw! (The other kittens like it too, but she goes nuts for it!)

Sundrop and Fanta show off their climbing (and falling) skills!
Sundrop’s giving Mister Frog a kiss. Awwwww.
Good night innernets. (Fanta & Poppi)
Sodapop’s keeping an eye on you!
Line ’em up! From left: Fanta, Poppi, Moxie and Sundrop. Don’t miss them in the new season of CSI: Kitten.

It seems like a good day to just randomly race back and forth around the room!
Sundrop is thinkin’ real hard. He doesn’t know what he’s thinkin’ about, but he’s thinkin’!

Everyone but Sundrop is sound asleep; but that’s okay, he can entertain himself with the track toy!
Moxie’s all “Here I come, Mama!” and Sodapop is all “Oh, joy.”
Good night innernets. (Stapler)
Stapler looooves to hang out on the landing and watch the goings-on. (There aren’t many goings-on, I can’t imagine it’s all that interesting.)

We’ve got skitterbugs and hippity hops aplenty!
Poppi and Sundrop are using the mirrors to keep an eye on me, just like their mama taught ’em.

Sodapop was spayed last week (Wednesday, to be exact) and she has recovered JUST fine. What a playful girl!
Churu time is the BEST time of the day!
Good night innernets. (Sundrop)

I’m always amazed that kittens manage NOT to take each other’s eyeballs out with their claws while playing.
Have you ever tried freezing the Churu into a kittycicle? I saw it this week on r/OneOrangeBraincell. They even stuck a stick in it before freezing!
Poppi seems like the kinda girl on the catwalk, striking a pose. She is gorgeous!

About Poppi and her Churu — sometimes only one exposure to a substance is enough to create an addict. The poor, dissolute baby. And you, Ms. Robyn, her evil supplier. 😉
