Mimosa suddenly thought to herself “Hey, I’ve got things to do.”
And 4 of the 5 kittens wondered what had happened.
The 5th kitten – Clover – tried to follow the milk bar and nurse, but it didn’t quite work out for him.
Mimosa ate a little, then went to the other side of the room and licked her lips. Kudzu and Hollyhock spotted her.
Hollyhock decided the trip was too far and turned around, but Kudzu made it all the way to Mimosa, and got a few licks as a reward.
Hollyhock sat by the crate and had deep thoughts.
Bramble found a toy and said “Oooh, feathers!”
Can you believe these kittens are 4 weeks old today? FOUR WEEKS OLD! In the past week they’ve learned to leave the crate (they still return to it to sleep), have ventured longer and longer distances across the room (but only for a few moments – they return to the area around the crate pretty quickly), have discovered toys, have begun checking out the litter box (no one has used it yet, but it won’t be long), and are trying out their climbing skills on the inside and outside of the crate. Oh, and they have teeth! They gain new skills every 10 seconds, it seems – by this time next week they’ll have all started using the litter boxes (usually once they start using it, they get the hang of it pretty quickly), might start checking out Mimosa’s litter box, and I imagine they’ll give climbing the cat tree a try, too. I also won’t be surprised if they decide to abandon the crate in the next week as well.
They are growing WAY too fast!

Bramble and Clover would like you to know that Hollyhock makes quite a comfy pillow.
No surprise, Mondo’s the first kitten to start following Mimosa around the room. She’s thrilled, as you can imagine.

Hollyhock climbing the crate, tussling with Clover… later there’ll be some nursing, a little exploring, a nap or six. The girl keeps busy!
I don’t know what Mimosa was saying here, but Hollyhock was listening verrrry intently.

Kudzu gets lost. Mimosa called Kudzu over to her, allll the way across the room. Then she just left him there (to be fair, she was coming to see if I had any food hidden on me, and stayed for the petting) and he couldn’t figure out how to get back to home base. (The abrupt ending is when I decided I’d just get up and go get him.)
Kudzu’s all “Tryin’ to nap here, lady.”

Robyn, again I woke up with a smile as I turned on my IPad to watch today’s updates. They are all so cute, great pictures, And mimos’s
Looks are priceless! Your comments on every video are informative. I’ve said it before, but your sense of humor is the best! TEETH? I cant believe the sprouts are 4 weeks old and growing by the minute. Love as their curiosity is developing. Thanks Robyn!
Oh my! Hollyhock looks so much like my Daisy (formerly Arya) that I adopted from you in 2013! Thank goodness my apartment policy only allows two cats, or I would be hugely tempted to adopt her.
She does look a bit like Arya. Glad to hear she is doing well. 🙂
Robyn, they are just so adorable! Thanks for the pics and info.
