Babka, Ciabatta and Crouton on the tree, taking in some sun.
A Crouton-banana-various-breads pie? My favorite!
Pumpernickel and Pita have a snuggle. (I love the one ear sticking out from behind the cubby – Crouton was in the crown bed.)
Pita puts the ol’ chomperoo on Pumpernickel…
And is AGHAST when he returns the favor.
Crumpet’s like “He’s still back there, isn’t he?”

It’s been a while since I posted pictures of the not-ours cats (Trixie and Rocco, who belong to a neighbor but spend a majority of time on our front porch and in our garage).
Trixie keeps warm in the bottom of this cat house (you KNOW there’s a heated bed in there.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
It’s Thlurrrpsday, so please admire Pumpernickel’s thlurrrping form. Nicely done!
Throw Back Thursday: from 2009, this is the litter of 7 kittens I creatively called “The Seven.” From top: Ezra, Caleb, Bessemer (Bessie), Beaulah, Phinneas, Elijah & Jasper. They were about 7 weeks old when they came to us, and though Beulah was half the size of the others, she grew to be a normal-sized cat. (All kittens were adopted out – I got an update on Beulah (now Pumpkin) in late 2009, but nothing recent on any of them, that I can recall.)

Mama’s just trying to hang out in the sunshine and play with her PEEP bunny toy (which has no catnip in it, by the way), but Babka keeps messing with her tail, and it’s giving Mama the Crazy Eyes.
Line ’em up! From left: Pumpernickel, Crouton, Pita, Babka & Ciabatta.

Crouton has discovered the mirrors, and she finds them utterly fascinating!
(Side note: every so often, someone asks why I have mirrors down low on the wall in the kitten room, and it’s because (1) I like to watch the fosters discover themselves, and (2) cute picture opportunities, as shown here.)
Good night innernets. (Crumpet on top of the crate, Pita & Pumpernickel in the top of the blue cat tree, Crouton in the purple crown bed, Babka on the bed next to the crown, and Ciabatta on the hammock scratcher.)

I love the color of your KIA!
Thanks! I like it too – it’s so easy to find in the parking lot. 🙂
Pita and pumpernickel seem to be bonding for napping
That picture of The Seven, re-posted on the Cute Overload, brought me to your blog, and I never left!
That picture made it into the Cute Overload calendar one year – I was so excited! (I miss Cute Overload!)
LUV the magnets on your car!!
Thanks! 🙂
