Bramble’s all “Wait, wait, wait! Lady… don’t stop petting yet.”
Hollyhock and her pink toebeans are just the CUTEST.
Bramble is thinking “I gots short and stubby little legs, but I bet I could figure out how to get over that barrier.”
Hollyhock checks out the view.
I mean… is Mondo a total poser, or what?
Bramble’s all “They look so comfy…”
Clover takes a sleepy look out of the crate.

Archie’s keeping warm and dry in his outside house. (Archie, along with all of us, would like it to STOP RAINING PLEASE.)

Three weeks old! Three weeks old! The Sprouts are threeee weeeeeks old! They’re looking like mini kittens now.. and all the boys are over 1 pound! Hollyhock is well below 1 pound, but she’s still gaining on a daily basis so we are not worried about her. (She’s also been the smallest since the beginning and is a normal weight for a 3 week old kitten.) If you’re interested in seeing the Sprouts’ weight chart, you can check it out right here.
Ever wondered what the kittens look like from above? Here you go! (It amazes me how much bigger Mondo looks than Clover, even though Clover is slightly heavier.)

We’ve got a kitten mosh pit going on here.
It’s hard to tell from this picture, but Bramble was licking the top of Kudzu’s head (and Kudzu’s smug little face is cracking me up.)
(Hollyhock was at the front of the crate looking at me, and thus is not in this picture.)

Awww, Mama done broke Kudzu’s hearrrrt. (In the moments before I thought to start videoing, Mimosa went into the crate and woke the kittens up, then stomped out.) Who’s going to be the dramatic one from this litter, do you think?
Good night innernets. (From left: Bramble, Hollyhock, Kudzu, Clover and Mondo.)

Considering the dramatic weather the South was having the past few days and the similar weather we had here in Ohio, have you ever had an instance where you needed to implement a duck-and-cover safety moment with your permanent residents and your fosters? We have a clowder in double digits and figuring out how to get them all to the basement and in safe places is not an easy task. So far we haven’t had the necessity for our plan, but I am always wondering how others might handle moving multiple fur-charges.
I absolutely love seeing Mimosa’s sprouts. They’re keeping me going at the moment, so thank you so much for what you do xx
Those are some chonky kittens!
In that last picture, Mimosa really looks like she has somewhere else she needs to be — or at least, wants to be!
Facebook really needs a SQUEEE! Reaction Button!
