Pinochle cleaning his paw. Awwww.
She keeps those kittens CLEAN.
“You’re watching them, lady, right?!”
I put them in the BIG Cuties box so I could change out the crate pad.
Whist is waiting patiently for her bath.
Mama keeps herself clean, too.
A Mama’s job is never ever ever done.

As a mom to a three year-old and an eight month-old, I totally relate to the upright nap!
All that white fur to keep clean! Canasta is doing a good job!
“Newt loves to curl up on that tree and snooze the day away.” Newt, that’s been my life’s ambition for decades.
Dude’s my hero.
I’ve only ever had one infant at a time because my kids are 12 years apart, but I can still relate to the upright nap. 🙂
Do mama cats get hairballs more frequently with all the kitten cleaning?
That’s a good question! They actually don’t, and I think it’s because kittens don’t really shed until they reach 6-8 months.
Canasta seems to be a sitter up rather than a lier down in general.
Every photo of see of the babies I have gotten into a habit. Trying to see how many “tail-lights” I can count !!
I see the picture of the short upright nap and the first caption that pops to mind:
