“Where’s the sun, lady?” Dewey wonders.
Louie informing me that it’s time for a nap.
And Louie in the sun bunny-kicking a toy.
Dewey loves this box of packing paper. The height of luxury!

Pumpernickel, Crouton and Pita in the comfy bed. Looks like Pita’s telling secrets.
Pita saw me and ran out of the bed to me (awwww), leaving Crouton and Pumpernickel behind.
Pumpernickel vamoosed, and Crouton eyeballed Mama to see if maybe the milk bar was in business.
Babka and the sharp and pointy teef.
Pumpernickel shows off his sharp and pointy claws.
Ciabatta ended up in the comfy bed for some alone time.

Khal the Magnificent is, indeed, one magnificent boy.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
The Crumbs are 5 weeks old – and this is what they look like! In the last week they’ve perfected their litter box usage and started eating solid food. They’re climbing the cat tree, using Crumpet’s litter box, climbing the crate, playing with toys, and driving Crumpet a tiny bit crazy. In the next week they’ll continue to enjoy solid food and figure out that toys are awesome. Both Pita and Ciabatta are doing great without the tape – occasionally they go a little duck-footed when they’re playing, but that’s to be expected.
All kittens are gaining well – you can see their weight chart right here.
When Uncle Newt gets one of his supplemental meals (if he asks for food, he gets it, basically, because he’s 18. He loves those packets that are a little bit of meat and a lot of broth), I have to close him into the kitchen so that he doesn’t get “help” from the kittens. Dewey doesn’t think this is fair at ALL.

The Duckling kittens really like it when I get out the disk launcher. I’m trying to get them to fetch the disks and bring them back to me – and at one point Louie actually trotted into the room with one in his mouth – but they’re not really getting the concept just yet.
Pumpernickel relives his birth experience.

The Crumbs – who are 5 weeks old now – are wearing their crazy pants. Look at them racing around, climbing the tree, throwing themselves back down. It’s absolutely nuts in that room!

Dewey just woke up from a long nap, and he’s feeling a little grumpy. (Same, Dewey. SAME.)

That is a wonderful picture of Dewey gazing wistfully in at Unca Newt (and his food)!
Does anyone else see Ciabatta and think about Charlie Chaplin?
Yes! And I love kitties with moustaches.
