Sundrop is all “What’s she doing?”
“I don’t know she’s always LOOKING at us,” says Poppi.
“Lady, are you OBSESSED with us?!” You know it!
Sodapop’s all “Stop takin’ pictures and sit down. I need a pettin’!”
A fuzzy Moxie pie! (My favorite!)
Fanta’s gettin’ grabby in the sun (I was dangling a toy over his head.)
Sodapop has a moment of relaxation.
That bunny toy is getting a lot of love (and bunny kicks) lately.
“You again, lady?” says Sodapop.
“Yep, it’s her again, mama!” says Moxie.

NOTE: Forgotten Felines doesn’t accept applications for kittens until they’re 10 weeks old; these guys are 9 weeks old!
9 weeks old, and they look SO grown up! You can see their weight chart here.
In the lineup picture, I LOVE seeing the different eye colors. Fanta’s eyes are a pure blue, Poppi’s are a bit more gray, and Moxie and Sundrop have almost the exact same eye color, though his is a bit darker. So neat to see!
Sodapop (estimated DOB 2/23/23) came to Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at the beginning of February along with 4 tiny newborn kittens. She had been found stray (likely dumped) and was so hungry that she was literally eating garbage. The kind woman who spotted her just couldn’t leave her there, so Sodapop went home with her. Since orange cats are commonly male, her rescuers assumed that she was too, and named her Sodapop. Imagine their surprise when, about a month later, they walked in to find that she’d given birth to four tiny kittens! They reached out to Forgotten Felines of Huntsville for help, and she came to us.
She has been a wonderful mama to her kittens, but now it’s time for her to be the baby. Sodapop is timid at first in new situations (we can only imagine what she’s been through in her past), but when given some time to acclimate, she comes out of her shell pretty quickly. She is turning into a lapcat, slowly but surely – she especially loves to be picked up and held against your shoulder. She is an incredibly playful cat, and will chase any toy you toss for her – she especially loves small felted balls, spring toys, and jumping after ping pong balls. She adores watching birds out the window, curling up in the sun, and did we mention that she likes being petted? Sure does!
As a super playful, active girl, she needs to have a home with at least one other cat to play with. She hasn’t been around dogs in her foster home, but likely would be fine with cat-friendly dogs. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and ID chipped, and is ready to go now.
We are located in Huntsville, Alabama; out of area adoptions are allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption since we haven’t perfected our cat-delivery drone yet.

Someone sent us one of those toy birds that flap around and chirp (it’s made by Potorama), and when I turned it on for the kittens, it turned out that Fanta liked it quite a bit! (The others were much more “meh” about it.)
Sundrop and Moxie have a tussle.

Fanta has a purrrr. (You know, ALL of these kittens have purred for me, but he’s the only one who keeps purring once I have the camera pointed at him!)
Poppi’s bunny-kicking the bunny!
