Moxie and those ridiculous whiskers.
From this spot, Poppi can watch me scoop the litter boxes, which is obviously very exciting.
He opted for the big bed, and his sister came along to steal some warmth from him.
Sundrop and Poppi, melting out from under the Ham-mick. Little slackers.
Sundrop and Poppi have a tussle.
I love the look Poppi’s giving Fanta. I don’t know what he did, but it’s apparently annoying.
“What?” (Fanta was elsewhere, thwarting my desire to get a picture of all 4 kittens together.)
Oh, this silly, sweet girl. I finally got around to weighing her the other day, and she is just under 8 pounds, which I think is the perfect weight for her. (The first time I weighed her, about a month ago, she was just 7 pounds.)

Female bluebird (lower left) and male bluebird (upper right), hanging out in the front yard. I took this picture standing in the foster room; no wonder Sodapop likes this view!
They’re spending a lot of time going in and out of the bird house, which means (I think) that they’re still building the nest. I spend a LOT of time staring out the window at the bird house, hoping to see one or both of them!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
Happy Thlurrrpsday from Poppi and Moxie, and please also admire Poppi’s fabulous Ears of Annoyance. (I paused the Churu to take their picture, and she was NOT pleased.)
Throw Back Thursday: in 2020, Fred crocheted this colorful kitten-sized cardigan, and foster Javier modeled it.

WARNING: THERE IS A SNAKE IN THIS VIDEO. No one gets bitten or attacked or squeezed to death, but the snake does exist.
Throw Back Thursday: In 2016, permanent resident Stefan (the coolest cat ever, who has since passed) caught a snake and brought it into the house. Sound up if you want to hear his proud “Dinner’s ready!” meow and my subsequent reaction.
It’s Churu time! Please note Poppi’s helpful paw reaching out to pull the Churu her way. (Fanta is an oddball who sometimes is VERY interested in Churu, and sometimes is too busy playing to be bothered.)

We’ve got a video with kittens leaping on kittens, and (at the end), mama surprised a few kittens and caused some floofy tails! (This video was made before they went for their spay/neuters yesterday. They’re pretty active today, but they’re not doing quite THIS much leaping yet.)
Fanta is the Guardian of my slippers, but it looks like he’s about to doze off on the job.
Good night innernets. (Sodapop)
