I am trying to remember what you said about the electric blankets because we have 2 dogs and 2 cats here and not quite enough pet bed heaters. But we do have a random electric blanket. Do you just leave them turned on low, or do you turn them off for part of the day? My pets thank you!
I turn it on when I make the bed in the morning, and it automatically turns off after (I think) 6 hours. Then I turn it on again in mid-afternoon and leave it until bedtime. The blanket does have a “keep on” setting, but I feel better knowing that it’ll automatically turn off after 6 hours just to be safe.

I love the triangular marking on Rocco’s nose. I seem to remember that one of your own cats from way back when had a similar triangle nose but the rest of him was mostly white? You may even have a picture of him on your wall?

Throw Back Thursday: Shelby, from one year ago! This picture just cracks me up – she looks EXACTLY like Calvin (from Calvin & Hobbes) in his school picture.
Tina’s little face cracks me UP. She knows she’s not allowed to sit on the paper tray, but it is ALL she wants to do. (When I’m not actually printing something out, the printer stays closed. She’s a light cat, but 8 pounds of Tina would not be kind to the paper tray!)

Throw Back Thursday: From 2006. Maddy (who was my very first bottle baby) loved to sleep on the printer. Someone asked what would happen if I printed something while she was there, so I decided to find out! Poor Maddy – I did NOT expect her to fall off the printer, but she was fine. (This video has been on America’s Funniest Home Videos twice!)
Carmy, Richie and Tina are banding together to negotiate another hike in the temperature of the electric blanket. We’ve gone from 5 to (currently) 15, and they’re insisting it needs to be 17 or 18 (it goes up to 20). I’m considering it!
