“Isn’t it about time for those kittens to head off to school, lady?”
Jeff says “I’ve finished my breakfast, let’s go!”
I left them doing their math homework, and came back to find them taking a nap. Little slackers.
Carmy decided to go for a leap.
“I’m so SLEEPY, lady!” complained Jeff.
Richie and Sydney came to join Carmy.
Then Richie jumped back to check on Jeff/see if I had Churu.
Then they all posed for a class picture. In the back: Sydney, Jeff and Carmy. In the front: Richie.
Sydney and Carmy practiced their “Who, me?” faces in Drama class.
They checked the structural integrity of the soda can (and gave it high marks!)
Then they took a shift at Chef Shrimpy’s. Richie was all “You gonna come down here and help me, or what?!”
Later, when school was over, Sydney checked out the tent and posed for me.
A few people have asked if the kittens are still nursing. They are, though Tina is cutting down how long she lets them nurse, and the frequency. I may still end up putting a weansie on her (one-piece recovery suit) when she’s together with the kittens to assist in her milk drying up, I haven’t decided yet (and we’re not in a hurry, really.)
Which reminds me… Forgotten Felines of Huntsville is now accepting applications for Tina and the kittens, so if you’re interested, now’s the time to apply. They won’t be ready to go home for another month – they are scheduled for their spays/neuters on November 26th, which is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and could go home as early as… well, Thanksgiving day (of course they’re welcome to stay here for longer if you’re interested in adopting and can’t make it happen that weekend)! Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.
Forgotten Felines of Huntsville gives priority to those adopting two kittens together. If you are not interested in adopting two kittens, there MUST be a young cat in residence. (If you are looking for a single cat, Forgotten Felines has some adults who would do wonderfully in a single-cat household.) Tina can be adopted as a single cat; if she’s going to a home with another cat in residence, I highly recommend a very slow introduction.
The kitten(s) (or Tina) must be picked up in person in Huntsville, Alabama. Forgotten Felines does allow out of state adoptions but does not allow the transport of kittens/cats and our Kitten Delivery Drone is not yet perfected.
Once again, that email address is info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.

This Alice pie (my favorite!) seems a little attitudinous.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Carmy pie for breakfast? (My favorite!) Don’t mind if I do!
Charlie spent about 10 minutes hanging out in the soda can the other evening, and when the kittens went to “school” (ie, the small office located off of my bedroom) the next morning, Sydney could smell that there’d been a strange Uncle Charlie there, and she sniffed and sniffed and sniffed and just could not decide whether to put on her floof suit or not! (The kittens have not met Uncle Charlie, but that’ll happen one of these days.)

Jeff and Richie (and Carmy, a bit) are wearing their crazy pants today while Sydney and Tina just watch ’em go.
Chef Jeff burned the risotto. 😐️

Slow motion kittens! The first one is Carmy from a couple of weeks ago; the others are more recent. As always, one of the things that cracks me up the most is my own super slowed-down voice and laughter. (When I hear “Syyyyydneyyyyyy! Youuuuuu’re sooooo (long long lonnnnng pause) sassyyyyyyy” I absolutely cackle.)
Good night innernets. (Richie in the middle, Carmy over there on the right, Jeff next to Carmy, and Sydney next to/under Jeff.)
