It’s a Pita pie. (My favorite!)
Crouton’s hitting her long and lanky stage. (They all are!)
Pumpernickel says “Uncle Khal said I could play with his toys!”
Pita keeps a wary eye on Charlie.
Ciabatta likes the very top of the cat tree.
I love how in this shot of Ciabatta (left) and Babka, she looks like she’s bigger than he is. (She is not – he’s the bigger kitten.)
Which reminds me – I haven’t weighed these guys in a couple of weeks because once they hit 12 weeks and are overall healthy, I don’t worry about it. Yesterday I looked at the rabies certificates for Crouton and Pumpernickel, and he (Pumpernickel) weighs 1 pound more than she does. So if you’re wondering how their people will tell them apart, I think all they’re going to have to do is look at them!
Pita, Ciabatta and Babka are off for their spays and neuter this morning!

Mama gets the snifferoo from Dillydally.
Bolt and Skip snuggle up for a nap.
Mosey, Dillydally and Skitter are ready for nap time.
“You messin’ with my kittens?”
No, Mama. I’d never!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Look who’s 4 weeks old today! They’ve hit the “miniature cats” stage of growth, with their ears up where they oughta be. They’re learning to look at me when I point the phone in their direction (a skill they’d be wise to master, honestly). They’re coming out of the crate a lot, wandering around the room, and have even shown a little interest in the cat tree.
In the next week they’ll master use of the litter box (they mostly climb in and sit there, looking puzzled. I have seen no actual usage of the litter boxes YET, but it won’t be long). They’ll start to show interest in mama’s food, and may even take a few bites. (You can see their weight chart here. I think it defaults to their weight chart, but if not click on the “Hopalong Gang” tab to get to it.)
He missed Toesday ’cause he was busy losing his bits ‘n bobbles, but Pumpernickel wanted to be sure you all saw his lonnnng toes.

I love it when Meander talks to her kittens. Please listen as I human-splain to the cat that her kittens aren’t scared (how she did not roll her eyes at my annoying self, I do not know.) Then there’s nursing – there’s always nursing – and Dillydally is sassy with her mama, who is endlessly patient, as always.
This is the first time I’ve seen them all on THIS side of the crate (usually they’re on the left side), so I guess they’re stretching their boundaries. Somehow, all 6 of these kittens are still fitting in at the milk bar. With a little determination, I guess you can do anything!

Pumpernickel likes to sit around getting his blep on, and this time I caught it (kind of) on video. It reminds me of a picture I got when he was just 1 month old. I predict he’s going to be a life-long blepper.
The kittens (Ciabatta, in this case) are loving this box!
Good night innernets. (Pumpernickel, Crouton & Pita)
