In case you missed it over the weekend, Kirk was adopted and went home – to Charleston, South Carolina!
He left here bright and early Saturday morning. His siblings watched him go, and then they shrugged and didn’t miss a beat – the usual playing, eating and napping happened for the rest of the day. They might have been a tad pleased about the fact that the Churu only had to be split 4 ways instead of 5, though.
Kes and Troi will go home (together) Friday, and then Janeway and Spock (together) on Saturday.
Yes, once they’re all gone a new litter will come to us, and no – I am not hiding them from you. They’ll join us once the last of the Trekklings go home.

The rest of the pictures I took that include Kirk are in today’s post.
He enjoyed that cube right up ’til a little while before he left!
Janeway atop the tunnel, with Kirk circling behind her.
Outtake from Kirk’s “adopted” picture. Janeway and Troi were SO SURE I was secretly feeding him Churu.
Troi jumped up to grab his tail but was unsuccessful.
Spock, Kirk and Troi atop the scratcher.
One last shot of the siblings. From left: Troi, Janeway, Spock, Kes, and Kirk.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) this weekend.
Janeway has got some absolutely fabulous whiskers.
I love Troi’s orange and white necklace.

The Trekklings always have a blast with that cube whether it’s cube-shaped or flat as a pancake.

It doesn’t matter that I have literally never once given these kittens a single bite of food while in the kitchen (I feed them in the foster room). Every single time I step foot into the kitchen, here comes Troi letting me know that I should be feeding her.
Oh sorry, Spock, am I BOTHERING you? (Check out those fabulous toebeans.)
Good night innernets. (From left: Spock, Janeway, Troi, Kirk – and back between the pillows is Kes.)
Good morning! The Trekklings are 12 weeks old today and here’s what they look like now (so grown up!)
If you’re interested in seeing their weight chart, it’s here.
Side note: If you’re interested in seeing how their weights compare to previous kittens’ weights, there’s a “comparative weights” tab at the bottom of that spreadsheet where you can see how they compare.
Hooray, hooray, Kirk was adopted today! He is flying home right now with his mom to Charleston, South Carolina where his name will remain the same (they will address him properly as “Captain Kirk”, though 😉) He joins kitties Mango and Oreo. (And yes, we have been promised updates!)
Happy life, sweet boy! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
(Troi and Kes (together) and Janeway and Spock (together) will go home next weekend.)

In case you missed it, Kirk was adopted and went home this morning. Here’s a video of the Trekkling kittens’ weekly pictures from 5 days to 12 weeks old. Watch ’em grow. ❤️

Tossing toys for kittens – you’ll note that chasing the spring is what really gets Janeway going (and I love that at the end, Janeway’s playing with a red spring and Kes bats a blue one out the door.)
Good night innernets. (From left: Troi, Kes, Spock and Janeway)
Would you please admire Kes’s gorgeously floofy tail? Amazing!

Kirk went home yesterday (yay!). Here’s a video of pictures of him from when we first saw him (at 6 days old) to the day he was adopted. Such a photogenic boy! ❤️ (Note: the first few pictures were taken by Brittany, before they came to me.)
Troi’s defiant little face! “No, I wasn’t on top of this air purifier pushing these buttons to see what happened. I’d NEVER.”

Kirk was adopted yesterday, and in case you were worried about how he’s doing in his new home, let me assure you he’s having a blast! (He and his new brother Mango sniffed at each other under the door with no drama last night.) (Thanks Rebekah!)
It’s a rough life for Spock, indeed.

I was in the kitchen doing dishes and suddenly realized it was very quiet. Since they’re usually underfoot when I’m in the kitchen, I went looking for the kittens to make sure they weren’t doing something they shouldn’t be, but as it turned out, they were just hanging out in a corner of my bedroom, purring up a storm, like the happy little slackers they are.
Good night innernets. (Janeway)
