More about the new design: for those of you on mobile, is the text showing up as black for you now? Also, I attempted (and think I was successful) in making the font a bit bigger. Is it showing bigger for you, and is it TOO big?
ALSO, if you click on the title at the top of the page (in this case, “9-7-23 Thursday”) navigation links will show up at the top and bottom of each page. They don’t say “previous” and “next”, but the link on the left (which should say “9-6-23 Wednesday”) will take you to the previous day’s post, and if there were a post for tomorrow, that’d be on the right side of the page. Here’s what the top of Tuesday’s post looks like on my phone:
But again – you don’t get those navigation links unless you click on the post title. (I hope that makes sense.)
Bear with me, y’all. We will get this figured out! (I hope.)

Spock is like “Just tryin’ to sleep, man. The guy upstairs is stomping back and forth and keeps reaching down to swipe at me.”
Spock, Kes and Troi in the hammick. That’s a snuggle pile, right there.
In goes Troi, to check things out.
And a moment later, she’s gotta come back out to see what’s going on.
I did not put that cave there for them to walk across and climb in and out of that basket on that little cat tree, but that’s how they’re using it, and they’re so light that it doesn’t even collapse under them. (YET.) Smart kittens.
The milk bar is quiet with just one patron at the moment. The bartender is not complaining.
Troi gives me the Head Tilt of Cuteness.
That’s a lotta floof for that little cubby.
Janeway’s all “Wait. What was I doing, again?”
Spock says “Nope, sorry. No room up here for you Kirk. Bye, now.”
Yep, time to bring out the bigger plate.

A closeup of Dewey’s snoot from a few years ago. Back in the good ol’ days when he allowed me to take his picture!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Would you care for a cuppa Troi to start your day? It’ll wake you up and get you going!
Look at all those bright eyes! The kittens are really enjoying this hammock scratcher. (4 out of 5 kittens are present – Janeway was elsewhere doing Janeway things.)

Uhura in the sun with Janeway and Troi. She loves her babies (and is so tolerant when they do things like play with her feet.) A+++ mothering, Uhura. ❤️
I put that little cave in the kitten room ’cause I know they like to burrow under blankets, so thought they’d like burrowing in the cave. They’ve pretty much ignored it, but then Spock gave it a try and declared it cool (until Janeway came walking by and he had to go jump on her.)

Just hanging out in the kitten room, watching the kittens play. There were a few cases of skittering, but I don’t know – this bunch isn’t nearly as skitterbug-y as some litters have been. I guess they don’t feel the need!
Kirk, moments before he arched up and went skittering sideways.
Good night innernets. (Troi and Spock)
