I put these beds – the “cave” Spock is on, as well as the big overstuffed one over there to the right – on the couch when the kittens started leaving the crate, figuring that once I knew the kittens had their litter box skills perfected, I’d put the beds on the floor. The kittens apparently got tired of waiting, and now there’s ALWAYS someone in that cave.

Directly after I took this picture, I picked up Janeway and kissed her 6,000 times.
My favorite part of this picture is the way the Heart plushie is watching in googly-eyed amazement as Janeway and Troi fight.

They’ve all started climbing the couch, and apparently it’s an awesome place to sleep! (Only 4 kittens in this picture; Spock was on the floor following his mama around.)

Kirk has a complaint.
The Trekklings are 5 weeks old! In the past week, they’ve gotten really good at using the litter box (I’ve only found two accidents, total), have abandoned the crate, and are starting to climb, and spending a lot of time on the couch. In the week ahead I expect them to continue their exploration of the entire foster room, to start showing interest in Uhura’s food (they occasionally sniff at it), and get even cuter.
Their current weights, from smallest to largest:

Kes: 19.9 oz/564.2 g
