Uhura really likes to hang out under this little scratcher/tree.
The kittens are starting to climb. The great thing about these short little scratcher/trees is that they can climb a little bit, but aren’t quite to the age where they can figure out how to get on top of the platform. So they climb ’til they get as far as they can, and then they back down. It’s good practice for them.
Troi gives this scratcher/hammock a try.
Uhura also likes to hang out under the small blue tree.
Troi likes the pink chair, even if Mister Frog keeps hogging it.
Troi’s exploring (that little tail just kills me.)
I LOVE how Janeway’s tail is perfectly positioned so that it looks like she’s got a ponytail on top of her head.
Kirk’s got the flailies again!
I had to resort to the banana Laffy Taffy container for weigh-ins because the little stinkers wouldn’t stop moving. It’s amazing how well it works (and how they don’t seem to mind it at ALL.) (PS: There is not a lid on that container.)

Someone asked recently what “happened” to Trixie and Rocco, the front porch kitties. The answer: they’ve both gained a substantial amount of weight, but that’s about it.
Trixie in the tree by the bird feeder, trying to look innocent.

You saving that litter for a special occasion, Kirk? (Eating litter at this age is normal – they’re still little and figuring things out; like human babies, everything goes into the mouth first. As they get a bit older and start eating kitten food, the litter-eating will stop. I use plain clay non-clumping litter at this age. As they get older, I’ll switch over to clumping litter. I don’t think they actually ingest much litter, they seem to mostly stuff it into their cheeks like little chipmunks and then stroll around the room casually spitting pieces everywhere.)
Troi’s cleaning Spock’s ear, and judging by that look on Uhura’s face, Troi’s technique is surprisingly good.

It’s baths for everyone within Uhura’s reach, and the milk bar is open for those who are interested!
Weren’t you just saying you wondered what the roof of Spock’s mouth looks like?

The milk bar is open, but Kirk is too busy playing for any of that.
Bath time for Troi. (I swear any time these kittens come within a tongue’s length of Uhura, they get a bath. Cleanest kittens in the south!)
Good night innernets. (Spock and Kes) (Yes, those two do seem to snuggle up together an awful lot. We may have a bonded pair here; we’ll see in the weeks ahead.)
