PLEASE NOTE: I am about to have a busy week next week, and so am doing myself the kindness of taking the week off from blogging. I MAY be back for Friday’s post, but I may not. If not Friday, I will definitely be back by Monday (the 31st). In the meantime, there will be posts going up on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) – which I will share in the blog as usual either Friday or Monday.
(Nothing’s wrong, nothing foster related – NO, I am not bottle feeding kittens – just a busy week and I’m cutting myself a break.)

Regarding the “Sights from around Crooked Acre” posts this week – I had originally intended to have today’s post with before-and-after pictures from various rooms around the house, but have run out of time (and don’t have that many pictures anyway.) Therefore, I am aiming to do an updated photo tour NEXT July (when we’ll have been here three years), and perhaps by then all the rooms we’ve intended to paint will have been painted. (But don’t hold your breath.)

Starling was coming down the stairs and spotted Uncle Charlie.
So she semi-arched-and-floofed.
Tater sensed a disturbance in the force and came down to see what was going on.
“I told him how it is!” reported Starling.
BUT THEN Uncle Charlie went skipping up the steps!
“Is he ALLOWED to do that?” wondered Tater and Starling.
He went straight into the foster room and started checking things out, accompanied by Wren.
Tater watched from a safe distance.
Uncle Charlie checked his look in the mirror.
He looked at their food, and the kittens watched.
Then he climbed into the basket of toys and found that he didn’t quite fit. Starling was like “The heck?”
Uncle Charlie and Starling sniffed noses.
Then Uncle Charlie went on his way, and the kittens spent the rest of the day sniffing every single spot Uncle Charlie had touched.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Wren pie to start the day? Yes, please! (My favorite!)
Starling is just a sleepy little bunny.

It’s time for a nap, and the kittens are 100% on board with that. Listen to them purrrr.
It’s Thlurrrpsday, so please admire Tater(Plover) and her tiny little tongue.

Apparently Rufous and Wren are just going to go from room to room and fight in whatever patches of sunlight they can find.
Good night innernets. (From Tater(Plover), Wren, Rufous and Starling.)
