A while back, Michelle loaned me a bubble shooter someone had given her. I finally got around to giving it a try with the Catsbys and…
Jay was initially a little scared, but decided very quickly that they were interesting.
Zelda gave those bubbles the ol’ hisseroo while in the background Daisy was all “What’s her issue?”
Here’s a closeup of Zelda’s face. I shouldn’t laugh, but it’s cracking me UP.
Jay checks ’em out, while Zelda and Daisy watch from a distance.
Nick waits to see if more bubbles appear – and off in the doorway, you can see Myrtle. She wanted NOTHING to do with those bubbles.
Zelda decided she was curious.
The bubble over Nick’s head makes it look like he suddenly had an idea.
Myrtle pretty consistently decided she was not a fan of the bubbles.

Rufous and Starling have a snuggle.
Wren gives me the eyes of Whatchoo Want, Lady?
That mushroom scratcher has turned out to be quite a hit with the kittens, especially Wren. (You can find them on Amazon and Chewy – here’s an Amazon link for reference.)
Rufous, Starling and Plovetato in my lap.
And Wren’s all “Does this foot smell funny to you?”

We were leaving to go somewhere, and Rocco watched us go from his favorite vantage point.

Starling’s being adorable and then OOPS! (Bless her heart.)
Two chill dudes. Jay (top) and Nick are both still available for adoption. Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire. (And their mother Daisy is also still available for adoption, FYI.)
(They are going for their neuter surgeries on June 12th and would be able to go home a few days later.) They would do well with other cats (and probably nice dogs as well), but do not need to be adopted together (they are not a bonded pair.)
JAY (DOB: 3-18-23, b&w cowkitty, male) has been Mr Personality since the day he was born, always front and center and ready to be admired. He is SUPER playful, has a lot of energy, & LOVES to leap up after feather teasers or toys you toss for him. He’s very fond of ping pong balls, toys with feathers, and rattly mice (but #1 in his heart is ping pong balls.) He loves track toys, playing chase with his siblings, and then collapsing in a purring pile of cute. Once his excess energy is expended, he loves to snuggle and be petted. He’ll nap in your lap (or nearby) before waking up and racing off to play again. He gets along well with other cats and must have a kitten or young cat to play and snuggle with.
NICK (DOB: 3-18-23, black, male) has been a little shy from the beginning – it takes him a few minutes to relax in new situations – but once he has a moment to adapt, he is just the sweetest boy. He’s very playful, but doesn’t care to be in the middle of a crowd. If there are a bunch of other kittens gathered around, he tends to hang back and watch from a distance. He is very playful and loves the feather teaser and ping pong balls, but will play with most any toy you want to toss for him. He loves track toys (finds them fascinating), playing chase with his siblings, and then snuggling up for a belly rub before drifting off to sleep. He gets along well with other cats and must have a kitten or young cat to play and snuggle with.
We are located in Huntsville, Alabama. Out of area adoptions are allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption; these guys aren’t smart enough to follow a GPS (no offense, boys, but it’s true.) Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire!

4 minutes of tossing toys for kittens. I don’t know whether they’re having more fun or I am, but we’re all having a blast!
Is it just me, or does Zelda look more like a puppy than a kitten here? Maybe it’s those big ol’ paws.
Good night innernets. (Rufous)
