Okay, BUCKLE UP, y’all – I have a LOT of information to share today, and I’m just going to throw it all at you. I can’t remember the last time I had this much stuff to announce in one entry! (I will be posting all of this – with different pictures – on social media today, sorry for the repetition.)
First: Brioche.
Brioche has gone to Petsmart! Room opened up, and she and her sister (Biscotti) are together there. I will, of course, let y’all know when she’s adopted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Second: Francesca and Nacho.
FRANCESCA AND NACHO ARE ADOPTION PENDING. (Yes, together.)
Since there’s no reason for them to be at Petsmart when they’re adoption pending, they are back here with me. (Which is actually how room opened up at Petsmart for Brioche.) They are in the foster room, and after a skittish first day, they’ve relaxed and are being awfully cute.
They’re not going home until the weekend after next, so yes: I will be introducing them to Cinnaspin and Linzer once they’ve had a few days to relax.
I’ve come to thlurrrp with you again…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Third: Cinnaspin and Linzer.
CINNASPIN AND LINZER ARE ADOPTION PENDING! (Yes, together.)
They will go home in about 2 1/2 weeks, and I am NOT sad that we get to enjoy them for a while longer.
Cinnaspin, explaining to Linzer how each square on the calendar represents one day. (Linzer: “What’s a ‘day’?”)
Cinnaspin plans what to pack in her bag.

Fourth: Surprise!
Since we now had two sets of fosters in the house, which makes Fred twitchy…
Why not go ahead and bring in a third set?
Seriously, though, since Francesca and Nacho, and Cinnaspin and Linzer are all adoption pending and we know when they’re going to be leaving, and since this duo needed a place where there lives someone who likes trying to tame scaredy cats (Fred), I told Brittany we’d take them. They are very scared little scaredy cats.
Lincoln is a boy, and he has a white stripe up his nose and white paws.
Lilly is a girl, and she’s all gray.
Lincoln is SCARED and wants nothing more than to sit with his face buried in something rather than look at you. Lilly is also scared, but her fear manifests differently – she also doesn’t want you to touch her, but she’ll hiss and run away rather than cower in place.
Their story: they are about 11 1/2 weeks old (date of birth: November 16th), and they were trapped as part of a colony that was being TNR’d (Trapped-Neutered-Returned) by fellow Forgotten Felines fosterer Candy (aka mom to Tilly the Tongue-less Kitty). They were too small to be fixed, so they went to Michelle’s house and then over the weekend came here. They’re currently in the bathroom, where the only hiding place is behind the toilet. I have a camera in there, so I can easily see that they spend most of their time out playing, cuddling, eating and using the litter box, but of course as soon as they hear one of us coming in, they run behind the toilet. They can be handled (as mentioned, Lincoln will just freeze. Lilly has to be caught and is harder to handle, but so far we’ve been able to trim her claws, check her ears, and give her a probiotic, so certainly not the spiciest kitten we’ve ever had.)

An old shot of Dewey so that y’all don’t forget what a pretty, pretty boy he is.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Linzer has just realized that Uncle Khal is FABULOUS.

Brioche doesn’t like your regular run-of-the-mill teaser, she likes this teaser with the sparkleball on the end. (And Robyn has a hard time pronouncing the word “sparkleball.” Spargkleball? What?)
I hate that this picture is blurry, but kinda love it, too. I was dangling a toy over Brioche’s head and it was driving her craaaaazy.

Trixie’s not a fan of kittens, it appears. And Linzer’s not a fan of Trixie. If this were a sitcom, they’d be dating by the end of Season 1.
Linzer and Cinnaspin and the guilty little faces.
Good night innernets. (Linzer & Cinnaspin)
Two sunny days in a row? Yes, please! (Cinnaspin & Linzer hope y’all are staying safe and warm today!)

Brioche is a happy, happy girl in her pie plate. (Yes, that is her purring!)
Linzer’s all “I got my eye on you, lady.”

Brioche, still growling at Cinnaspin and Linzer. This is the 3rd time I let the kittens into the foster room with Brioche, and I certainly can’t blame Brioche for being grumpy about the fact that the little invaders stomped in and immediately started eating her food!
Good afternoon, sunshine(s). (Linzer and Cinnaspin)
