They do make Churu in edible tubes!! I just got them and my cat LOVES them
Ooh, thanks! We’ll have to check those out!

Remember when Hollyhock climbed to the top of the stair barrier??
I sure do – that’s why there’s plastic there now! (She wasn’t able to get over the plastic, thankfully, ’cause I guess the next step would have been to build something that went all the way up to the ceiling, and we don’t particularly want to do that!)

The names [in this article] reminded me of the Cardsharks.
Oh, I love it – and what a sweet story!

I think you posted a pic a while back of Lalo & Gus together. Would you be able to post it again or maybe a new one so as to compare the eye color? Gus’s eyes are a beautiful color. So different, just wondered how they compare to the Siamese blue.
I finally managed to get a couple of shots of them side by side…
And then of course Francesca had to come see what was going on!

In the video of Mama Kim eating with the kittens, is she on any special food?
No, we’re between special foods at the moment – I tried one kind, she didn’t like it, and now we’re waiting for another special kind to arrive from Chewy (should be here today.) Fingers crossed that she likes this one!

Gus shows off his pretty eyes again.
Gus goes off to clean his toes while Nacho hangs out on my sweatshirt (these kittens LOVE IT when I leave a shirt or sweatshirt on the bed.)
Saul and Mike have a snuggle. I love how Mike is using his back foot and his front paws to hold Saul’s head in place.
That’s a bed full. (The only kitten missing from this picture is Lalo, who was behind me in the cat tree by the window.)

Charlie does not approve of this sudden cooler weather at ALL, but at least the sun is shining.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Yes, Kim Wexler IS available for adoption. She was recently diagnosed with Glomerular Disease, which is a kidney disease that will require medication, a special diet, and regular visits to the vet. (We are realistic that it’s hard to get people too excited about adopting a cat with special medical needs, so she will stay with us as a long-term foster unless/until she is adopted.)
Kim Wexler – DOB August 1, 2014 – came to us on August 1st along with her 5 kittens (Francesca, Gus, Lalo, Nacho and Saul). She was an owner turn-in at our local animal control facility, and gave birth while with them. Her kittens were only a few days old when they came to us to foster. A few days later, Mike – a kitten who was left behind by his mother – needed a family, and he came to join us. Kim immediately accepted him as her own, and he’s grown up with her own kittens. The kittens are now 3 months old, and Kim is ready for a home of her own.
Kim is the absolute sweetest, most chill girl with a wide playful streak. She loves snoozing the day away in various spots (she particularly likes to sit and look out the window), and occasionally race through the house, play with toys, and otherwise entertain herself. She loves to be petted – and especially scritched under her chin and behind her ears, and loves to be held for short periods of time. She doesn’t understand when the humans try to kiss her – she thinks it’s weird – but she will tolerate it. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations.
We are located in Huntsville, Alabama. Please email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire about adopting Kim Wexler.
We have an update on Maggie, our foster mama from 2011 (she came to us pregnant and gave birth to 6 kittens of her own… and eventually took on the care of three orphaned kittens as well.)
Alex says: Greetings from Wisconsin, I wanted to share a pretty big Maggie update that I’m sure everyone who remembers her will be happy to hear about.
As I mentioned in my last update, we lost our oldest cat, Bailey, a several months ago. Maggie has been a lone cat since that time…until three weeks ago.
Our family was returning from morning Packer game party and we passed a farmhouse that was selling pumpkins, and there was also a sign that said “Free Cats”. Long story short, we adopted two male kittens and named them Maple and Pack.
During the first days, Maggie hissed at the new additions and pretty much stayed away from them as much as possible. After a few days, the hisses decreased and the co-habitation slowly increased.
Fast forward two weeks. Pack likes to attack Maggie’s tail, and Maggie has been relatively indifferent though sometimes she playfully attacks back. And now, she can be seen snuggling near/with them. While she isn’t the Momma cat that she was when she first came to Robyn, I think her motherly instincts are slowly returning.
So yeah, Maggie is well and has some new friends to keep her on her toes and keep her young.
Thank you so much, Alex!

Throw Back Thursday: Back in 2013 we fostered the Sopranos litter, which consisted of mama Livia and her 7 kittens. (Names: Adriana, Carmela, Meadow, Melfi, Paulie Walnuts, Silvio & Tony.) Carmela loved this particular toy, and played with it nearly constantly. She had the moves!
Happy Thlurrrpsday! Some of us are feeling thlurrrpier than others of us (and Saul absented himself from this picture altogether!) From left: Gus, Francesca, Lalo, Mike, and Nacho.

Tossing toys for kittens yet again. And listen, I’m not disparaging the boys – they can certainly get some jumping in – but the girls are just out of this world with those crazy leaps.
Yes, Kim DOES still run the fish taco truck (when she feels like it), but it looks like it’s got termites or something.
Good night innernets. (Francesca, Nacho, Gus and Kim Wexler.)
