It’s a Clover in a basket, bein’ cute.
And a Hollyhock under the scratcher, doing the same.
Bramble’s checking things out.
Mimosa approves of the scratcher; does not approve of kittens climbing.
Mimosa watching Bramble, who is a blur.
“That one’s gonna be trouble, lady.”
Hollyhock and Bramble in the top of the little blue cat tree, keeping an eye on me.
They’ve decided they’re tree dwellers.
Over the weekend the kittens expanded their territory quite a bit – they now sleep on the little blue cat tree and the hammock next to it. I put the crate away and moved things around so they have more space to race around like crazy things. They’re all eating solid food (and still nursing when Mimosa allows it), and using the litter box like little champs. I’ve moved their litter boxes into the litter closet (right inside the door), and had started to think that maybe they wouldn’t show any interest in Mimosa’s litter box, when I walked in to find Mondo using it.

Newt wonders if I might see my way clear to providing a little snack for him. (I did.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) over the weekend.
Kudzu snoopervises Bramble’s slurping technique.
There’s a whole lotta biting going on in that basket.

Hollyhock is a BOOP evader.
Clover and the adorable spotted belly.

Spittin’ kittens. (Okay, just one spit. But a discussion of how this is the spittingest litter of kittens EVER.)
Mondo’s playing follow-the-Mama.
Good night innernets! We have a million soft, comfy places to sleep, so we’re going to sleep here on the hard, cold floor and look miserable because we like to drive our foster mom NUTS.
The kittens are spreading out and exploring other areas of the room!
Look how casually Clover goes climbing up that scratcher post! And how Kudzu’s all “Yeah? I’m on the shelf. So? We is growing up!”

Climbin’, climbin’, climbin’. Of course they’re going to climb up the couch. It’s not like they have a bunch of scratchers they could be climbing or anything.

Playing, skitterbugging, and bonking our heads on the cabinet door. It’s been a full day in the kitten room. (I love how halfway through the video Kudzu comes strolling out of the cabinet, all “What’s goin’ on out here, guys?”)
I walked into the room, and Hollyhock and Mondo (top) and Bramble were just sitting here on the scratcher, acting like it was no big deal.
Good night innernets (and shut that door, lady! We sleepin’ here!)

Mondo does a slight skitter… and Mimosa was hungry, ate all her canned food and would like me to get it in gear and give her some more food NOW, please.

I thought Kudzu was going to need a hand down from the cat tree, but when he realized there was litterbox snoopervising to do, he figured it out on his own!
Bramble and Hollyhock in the Toastycat bed. I keep hoping to walk in and see all 5 of them stuffed in there, but so far nada.
Good night innernets. (Hollyhock & Mondo)
