Hollyhock looks like she’s ready to show Mondo who the boss is. Mondo’s thinking he doesn’t want to test her.
Mimosa performs her thousandth drive-by sniffing of the day. Gotta make sure those kittens stay clean!
Mondo up close. OH, those blue eyes.
Kudzu is very, very serious about his milk bar.
“Innernets, look! I got TWO paws! Two!” Very nice, Clover.
I say to Mimosa, “How are they going to figure out the litter box if you’re pottying them all the time?”, but she just ignores me.
Yesterday, after I posted a video wherein I said that no one had used the litter box yet, Mondo took it upon himself to do just that. He’s used it at least twice that I know of, and I suspect one of the other kittens has used it, too. So far I’ve found one accident (thank god for washable pee pads). I bet this time next week they’ll all be using the litter box, and a week after that they’ll have it all figured out. I generally see very few accidents past the age of 6 weeks – partly because I’m lucky, and partly because the kittens don’t have to go more than a few feet to get to a litter box while they’re figuring the whole thing out.

Newt checks to see if it might be time for some of that tasty canned food. (It wasn’t, but I might have made an exception for the old man.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
The Sprouts are 4 weeks old today and this is what they look like now! Everyone is now over 1 pound – you can see their weight spreadsheet on Google Docs, right here.
Top: Mimosa with her newborns. (Left to right: Kudzu, Bramble (atop Hollyhock, who is actually curled up asleep), Clover and Mondo.)
Bottom: Mimosa with her 4 week olds. (Left to right: Bramble, Hollyhock (top), Kudzu (bottom), Mondo and Clover.) I guess the older they get, the less insistent they are about having a particular spot at the bar.

Kittens at the milk bar! Can you believe they’re 4 weeks old already? Time flies! (I love it when Mimosa talks to me.)

Hollyhock has a sleepy. (Also featuring Clover, who wants to know what’s goin’ on.)

They’re always figuring out some new skill or surprising me one way or the other. They’re growing before our very eyes. Slow down, kittens!

Hollyhock is very very interested in this whole “toy” situation and figuring out how to play with them. (Also, Mondo goes exploring!)
Woohoo! Congratulations to Mondo who celebrated being 4 weeks old by using the litter box for the very first time! The world’s the limit now, little man! ❤️
Good night innernets. (Clover)
