I am going out of town today and will be back next week. I am taking a true blog/social media vacation, so nothing new will be posted until at the very least next Thursday (and it may even be some point over the following weekend, depending on how much time I need to recover from my trip.)
In the meantime, there’s a “random post” button over there in the sidebar – bright yellow, can’t miss it! There are 4,339 posts on this here blog. Have you read every fascinating word? Are you sure?
(There’s also a “random post” link right here, but you have to keep coming back here to click on it.)
Behave, and I’ll see you on the flip side!

(To answer the question someone always asks: Fred will care for the cats while I’m gone. I fully expect Ivy to have fallen in love with him by the time I get back, because that’s what always happens. HMPH, Ivy.)

Ivy’s like “I can’t wait to have this bed to myself.”
Here’s a shot of the belly, if you were hoping to see one. You can see the little shaved patch where they were looking for a spay scar at the vet’s.

Speaking of smug little faces, Alice Mo the calico is keeping toasty warm on that heated bed on the screened porch, yo.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
It’s not Thlurrrpsday, but ask Ivy if she cares. She’s a rebel!
I love Ivy’s crazy whiskers when she yawns.

Ivy playing. That girl knows how to have fun.
Ivy looks like she made a corny joke and now she’s laughing at it.

Newt wanted very much to go upstairs and check out the food situation in the foster room, but is leery of walking too close to Ivy (she wouldn’t do anything, but he’s a better-safe-than-sorry kinda guy.) Eventually he did scoot by her, but I didn’t catch it on video.(That’s Jake hanging out on the bottom of the cat tree, and Charlie who has the nerve to come over and sniff Newt, and then gets a smack for his troubles.)
