Sometimes, to make things exciting, she hangs out on the bottom step instead of the landing.
I picked her up and put her on the cat tree..
And she was like “Whoa. There are birds out there!”

You may have heard that we had snow here Sunday night. We only got a couple of inches (the rest of the area got more, as I understand it) and it’s mostly gone. The only cat who checked out the back yard when it was covered in snow was Charlie, who went out, took one look, and came right back inside.
Jake was like “I ain’t goin’ out there. I’m staying where it’s warm!”

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Fun fact: sometimes if you yawn at a cat or kitten, they’ll eventually yawn back. I was trying to get Ivy to yawn for me, and she just looked SO amused (and did not yawn.)
I’ve had that basket forever, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen a cat in it. How cute is Ivy? THE CUTEST.
Good night innernets. (Ivy and her crazy whiskers.)
