(I know Christmas isn’t until tomorrow, but I don’t generally post on the weekend, and I figured y’all wouldn’t mind the deviation from previous years!)
I hope you’re all having a wonderful day (and tomorrow as well – heck, have a wonderful WEEKEND!) I cut and paste the following every year because although they are recycled words, they hold 100% true:
You guys are the best, and I appreciate you so very much. Thank you for coming back here to read and comment or lurk – and for some of you (a lot of you at this point!) for adopting kittens from us. It’s been a great, kind of crazy, and sometimes sad year, and I hope 2022 is a little calmer and a lot safer, with no losses for any of us.
I’d most likely keep this blog going even if no one was reading – I don’t know that I’d ever be able to remember when certain events happened without this handy blog to serve as my diary to be honest – but you guys make it so much better, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Festivus – whatever holiday you celebrate (or don’t) I hope you are warm, happy, safe, healthy, and well-fed.

This year’s cover boy for the Love & Hisses holiday card was…
Newt!
We wish you a warm and happy holiday season, and a wonderful and joyous 2022.
The scanned holiday cards I’ve received so far can be seen here, or you can scroll through them below. (I know there are more on the way; I’ll scan and add them when they arrive.)

Here are the cards from years past, starting with the oldest.
Mister Boogers from 2004 or 2005.
Tommy in 2009. That look he was giving me still cracks me UP.

Other pictures that could have been cards, but weren’t:
Tubby, from 2001 or 2002.
Sugarbutt in 2005. Hard to believe he was ever that little.
Reacher in 2010. I love this picture.
Charlie and Patty Peppers, 2011.
Stinkerbelle and Tommy in 2012.
Pretzel, Fritter, Eclair & Annie Oakley, 2020.
(If you’re on social media, I’ll be posting this years’ coulda-been-a-Christmas-card-but-wasn’t pictures there tomorrow. If you’re not on social media, you’ll see ’em Monday!)
