The kittens are having a hard time getting going this morning. (Sammy on the lower level, Nikki yawning on the top level with Carli in front of her, looking skeptical.)
Another yawn from Nikki. It’s a rough life, is what it is.
Yawning Sammy. Did I mention that it’s a rough life?
Check out Sammy’s amaaazing whiskers.
Nikki’s all “GIVE me that phone! I wanna take a selfie!” Please admire her striped whiskers.
Snuggling with Barry (who looks slightly amused.)
Carli’s all “What you doin’, lady?”
So the kittens were scheduled for their spay/neuter surgeries today, but I got word yesterday that spay/neuter day had been delayed by a week. So they’ll go NEXT Tuesday for their spays and neuters. Forgotten Felines of Huntsville is having an issue with their email at the moment, so if you’re interested in adopting one (or more) of these kittens, you can message them on their Facebook page. Or you can email me and I’ll pass it along to the proper people.

Dewey is such a pretty boy – and here’s an old picture of him to prove it. (If you’re new, Dewey is our permanent resident who loathes having his picture taken and will run like the wind if I point my camera at him. I’ve decided to respect his desire to remain unphotographed, so I share old pictures of him so y’all don’t forget what he looks like!)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Back in the spring of 2020, we were fostering Bunny and her 4 kittens when two tiny kittens were turned in as strays. We thought we’d see if Bunny was interested in mothering them alongside her own kittens… and it turned out she was very “NO THANK YOU.” So I bottle fed them and they stayed in a cage in the foster room (with plenty of out-of-the-cage time when I was in the room to supervise.) Bunny learned to tolerate them (they never nursed, though), and those kittens – Clyde Bunny and Cutey Bunny – were adopted together (Clyde is still Clyde – Cutey is now Jasmine) when they were old enough. And here they are now! Now, I knew Clyde was going to be fluffy, but LOOK AT THAT TAIL!
Jodi said: “This is an update on Clyde and Jasmine. They still play and chase each other. I hope they continue do that as they age because it always makes us laugh! And of course take naps together. For their birthday they got the window condo. They really love it! I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. “
Thank you so much, Jodi! ❤️

Oh that Ruthy is one sweet, sweet girl. ❤️

Flatten! That! Tent! I could spend all day in this room setting that tent up, and they’d flatten it every time. They know how to have fun!
Ruthy’s checking out that cute kitten in the mirror – and Nikki’s keeping an eye on both of them.
Good night innernets. (Ozzy in his Toastycat bed.)
