In case you missed it on social media yesterday…
D’Artagnan and Porthos were adopted yesterday! They are keeping their names, have an older kitty brother in their new home… and a dog. I know their new family is going to have SO much fun with them.
This leaves just Athos, who will go home tomorrow. (Well, and Aramis-now-Charlie, who’s already home.)
The rest of my pictures that include d’Artagnan and Porthos will be in today’s post. First up, what they looked like in mid-July versus what they look like now.
D’Artagnan: July 21st and October 11th. I am dying because he has THE EXACT SAME FACE.
Porthos: July 21st and October 11th. He was so tiny!
Charlie, Athos and d’Artagnan letting me know it was time to get up.
Keeping an eye on Earl the Skwerl.
Porthos keeping an eye on the birds.
Tussling on my bed yesterday morning.
One last shot of the brothers.
(People always ask how the remaining kittens deal with it when their siblings leave. They deal with it fine – I’m not sure Athos, who was RIGHT THERE when the boys left in their crate, has noticed anything is different. It’s sad for us when litters are adopted out separately (and I continue to not know a single person who was willing to adopt 8 kittens together; if you do, you should have spoken up before now), but it doesn’t seem to bother the kittens themselves at all.)

I took the water bowl to the bathroom to rinse and refill it, and when I got back Calamity Jane was all “I’m parched!”
Tiny Candy Apple in the Tiny Basket.
Buffalo Bill’s all “Got my eye on you, lady.”
I mean, 9 in one picture isn’t bad, right?

Oh that Charlie. He has a lot of favorite places to sleep, but that bed on the kitchen table is near the top of the list.
